Just Right

The Happy Hour at Room With a View is a must do! The hotel staff were very nice and accommodating. It is not easy to walk anywhere from this hotel due to location but there really isn't any better place to walk from. The roosters will say good morning many times but the room was very quiet and this was not bothersome.

Love Bluebeard's

Pros: Staff, rooms, views.
Cons: Changing rooms (it's a timeshare, and rooms are individually owned. Sometimes for an exrended stay, you have to change rooms, if an owner is coming in
Location: Very centrally located, without being in the bad part of town.
Nice hotel. Beautiful views. Great rooms. Wonderful staff. I don't know why anyone would stay anywhere else. Great place. Reasonable price.

Close to town

Nice location. Good views. Short walk down the hill to the downtown area and vendors. One negative is the WiFi service is 6.95 a day and seemed to only work in proximity to the room we were in. It would have beennice to have expanded range. We have verizon, so that was a problem, but not related to hotel. Otherwise, we enjoyed the stay.

Ants in bathroom and toilet didn't work. Asked front desk, twice, to correct problem but not fixed. We finally gave up. After one night we left as early the next morning as possible. Almost forgot, hotel had one person in bar & restaurant area to take drink & dinner orders, mix drinks, deliver meals/drinks, run cash register, etc.. For the price of the rooms, management should hire adequate staff and respond to customer needs.

Nice hotel with a nice view

Posted Jan 3, 2015
The place was really nice and not too far from the beach. The overall facility was clean. Besides the fuzzy television that did not get fixed during my stay and the poor air conditioning, I would recommend that location. I'm sure those issues will be taken care of for the next guests.

Ok in a pinch

Pros: Friendly hotel staff.
Cons: More regular checks to determine that everything in the room is in working order.
Location: Close to downtown...but that is not really a plus since downtown is very crowded.
It's not a hotel. It's a timeshare. Don't expect the same level of services you would at a hotel. Room was full of ants. Sliding door did not lock. TV remote did not work. Safe did not lock. Staff are friendly and helpful. Location is good. This was a business trip. I would not book here for a vacation.

Loved our stay

Had a fabulous stay at Bluebeards, a great location and view of the marina and bay. I liked the fact it wasnt on a beach as it made us get out somewhere different every day ores oils have lazed by the pool. Sat night at the cabana bar is the busiest as most timeshare people arrive on that day so it's alot of funand has a wonderful atmosphere with people offering tips and hints about St Thomas and surrounding islands. Staff were nice and the happy hour buffalo wings were yum. Best beach is trunk bay on St John island and best snorkeling is Saffire beach on St Thomas, loads of fish, rays and turtles just of the beach.

I wish the convenience store had been open.

Pros: Charm, scenery, quiet.
Cons: they should have a convenience store.
Location: This is exactly in the heart of where you want to be, easy to get everywhere.
Very comfortable hotel. Nice restaurants and friendly staff. Very convenient to everything. The also had nice day excursions. My trip was very restful.

Good value heads up!

Second visit paled to my visit earlier this year. The most attractive point is the value. The Banana Grill had great food and service! The upper level open air bar was also excellent food, service, and piano bar on Sunday nite was great! All of that was offset by some issues with the room which was dated, the front desk personnel is hit and miss on service focus, the little onsite store is closed! However, I would stay again. Just read about the nuances and weigh it with price and you will be happy with your choice!
