“Relaxing”

We stayed at Caneel Bay with our 12 year old daughter and had a wonderful time. The staff was attentive and thoughtful, the accommodations lovely, and the beaches beautiful. Thank you for a truly relaxing vacation. We will return!

“Great honeymoon spot”

Unbelievable service from the time we stepped off the plane from the time we left on the ferry. There are always activities to do there from kayaking to snorkeling to tennis and everyone was helpful and friendly. It is very quaint in the sense that there are no phones or televisions in the room, but that makes it more romantic and more of a throwback-type resort. The breakfast buffet every morning was superb with at least 20-25 different fresh fruits. Definitely rent a car and tour the island one day, but with 7 beautiful uncrowded beaches, it is tough to leave.

“Perfect Anniversary Vacation”

THE best resort on St. John. You will not go wrong booking your stay at Caneel Bay. The place if family-friendly, but, if you're looking for water-park/mini-golf like activities then you should find a different place to stay. However, the place is ideal for active, adventurous couples with a bounty of snorkeling, sailing, kayaking, and hiking options. Also, world-class white sand beaches, excellent restaurants, and lots of wild donkeys.

“'Can neel' and pray and not do better than Caneel”

People were incredibly accomodating and friendly, went out of their way to see that we got what we needed. After exploring most of St John, we felt fortunate to find that Caneel Bay was ( in our opinion) the most beautiful place on the Island. WE WILL BE BACK!

“Worth every dollar.”

The hotel far exceeded any expectations I had. The service was top notch, especially from Desmond who runs their watersports department. Most of the staff members I met had been there 10+ years which says a lot about the property. My wife is an avid tennis player and said she received one of the best lessons of her life while there (and for only $25).

If you are looking for an eco-luxury resort, in St. John USVI, look no further. If you want a casino or wild nightlife...go to St. Thomas. So many perfect beaches at Caneel Bay,wonderful cusine and an attentive staff with friendly service. Excellent free Wi-Fi resort wide...even at the beach! Pricey, but worth it.

Hotel was fantastic. The beaches were amazing. My only comment is to bring your wallet as the food prices are very high.

“Chill Zone”

Great place to 'chill out' and leave the rest of the country / world / planet behind for a week (or 2 if you can afford it). Good if you have kids & if you want to avoid kids, they cope nicely with that too.

Customer service is a 100% commitment at Caneel Bay. We were there 12 years ago and it is even better in 2012. Committed to the national park standards of care, the resort cares for plants, wild lfe and guests. I think it must be in the top 10 resorts in America.
