We are a guesthouse nestled in the mountain, We do encourage our guests to rent a car to get the most the Island has to offer. It is indeed expensive on the island, most of our guests opt for the ability to cook for themselves for basic needs leaving them the opportunity to Dine out for their Dinner on the Island. We did have a stray dog follow guests back, and has been taken in by the shelter. We are sorry that we did not meet your expectations on the island and will strive to do better.

Sorry the shower sucked! Sincerely! We were having issues with our pump and had to go on back up. We have a stringent system of pest control, including mosquito's. I apologize if you experienced bug bites, but maybe not from here. Perhaps the Beach?

Hello Douglas, I apologize for the poor water pressure, we were having issues with our pump on property, and to keep water flowing found it necessary to go on our back up system, which allows you to get water under such emergencies. I do actually agree that the bedroom in 2 of our rooms is rather small for our Queen Size bed, yet most people do not feel this is an issue. All photo's are taken on a cell phone, therefore, how can it not depict the property accurately? We are a budget property with prices rolled back to 2015 until we are back up to where we feel comfortable with raising prices to compete with the market. So sorry that you were disappointed with your stay. We are working diligently on the things we can do, and will continue to upgrade and update.

We have been diligently trying to update the property since incurring not 1 - but 2 Category 5 Hurricanes, We know this is a slow process which we apologize for! Hence we have kept the prices low until we are able to offer a fully updated facility. We have Neighbors that do have some domestic issues. They are across the street (not on our property)!

Charlie, I apologize on behalf of my staff for not doing a more thorough job in cleaning your room prior to check in. As for our hours, Yes, they are short in regards to Hotels, but, we are a guesthouse, and our guests have full access to us via telephone where we can handle any issues that might come up in a timely manner

In light of Covid we have installed a Smart Device to aid us in providing the best possible air during this time. Each guest has their own remote control for their units, we can however override when there becomes issues and the controller may not be working properly!

First Jessica let me say it was a pleasure having your family with us. We apologize that you were uncomfortable during your stay. I will have my plumber look into the Hot water balancing - that has never been mentioned. We very recently put in a back up generator as our island has frequent power outages, I apologize that it was so new that we hadn't had time to work out any of the bugs. Working well now!

Thank You for taking the time to Rate Our Property, We have chosen to work on the infastructure of the property before the upgrades. Beds were all replaced after 2 - Category 5 hurricanes caused much destruction. Hence the reason for not raising our rates, but rolling back to rates of 2015 - prior to the Hurricanes. As far as supervision, We apologize about the party, the Birthday Girl and her guests were confronted at the time of their arrival or it could have been far worse.

Thank You for reviewing our property. Close is a relative term. We are within 2 miles of the Airport and 2 miles to downtown. less than 1 mile from Grocery Store. 2 Miles to some amazing beaches. We do recommend renting a car so that you are free to discover the island at your leisure.

We are sorry that you encountered bad bugs. Part of being in the Tropics. We are working diligently to update and repair from the Hurricanes that devastated our Island. With the Taxi's - we seem to have lost a lot with Covid, It has been difficult to get Taxi's from the Largest Association on the Island to make these runs, we have addressed this concern with the Taxi Association and know that there is room for much improvement.
