Excellent hotel for transfers.

Pros: Staff and style.
Cons: The main restaurant could be improved in speed and quality.
Location: Did not stay long enough.
We stayed here one night as we had a 6:00 am LIAT flight to Barbados the next morning. The style is old British colonial, the rooms are spotless and the staff very, very hospitable and helpful.

Traditional building now a high quality hotel

Posted Dec 2, 2013
Pros: They have kept the traditional design and the feeling that you're staying somewhere with history - while ensuring you have everything you need.
Cons: Kitchen closes quite early - 9.30pm. I was able to order some soup afterwards but this was an exception.
Location: A 5-10 minute walk from the town centre. Above the noise of the city so very quiet.
Hotel is the old governors house. They've expanded but stayed true to the original building design. Hotel staff are very attentive and friendly. As no one was checking in behind me, they let me keep the room for a late check out until 4pm.

Convenient and comfortable

Although this is a business hotel, I chose it due to its location and convenience for visiting family. This is a small boutique hotel with very good service. We stayed for 3 days and had breakfast on all 3 days and lunch on one day. The food was good and nicely served, the atmosphere is polite without being stuffy. The location is literally 10 minutes walk down a hill to Kingstown.
