Staatz is situated approximately 35 miles (56 kilometers) north of Vienna, the country's capital, and approximately 120 miles (193 kilometers) northeast of Graz.
Try not to limit yourself to Staatz; this region has numerous cultural and scenic attractions which await the savvy traveler. If you've enough time, head 14 miles (23 kilometers) to get to Mailberg.
