Down to basics

Basic hotel room. Lobby had a bit of smell to it. Decent breakfast. Room was clean and bathroom too.

Good Place to Stay if You Have a Dog

This place is very dog friendly and the pet fee is reasonable. When we arrived, they had dog treat bags waiting for my two Bulldogs, complete with treats, a toy, and poop bags. There isn't an especially large area to walk your dog, but there's there are small grassy areas around the perimeter of the hotel. The breakfast was good. There are muffin/cereal options, make your own waffles and another warm selection that changes daily. The staff was very friendly and the hotel is conveniently located. The building is a little outdated and the room could've been a bit cleaner... It wasn't gross, but it was a bit dusty. For those of us that travel with dogs, you know how hard or expensive it can be to find a place to stay that will accept pets; this is a good place to stay if you are.

Appears Redone ... Horrible Smell

The overwhelming smell of Curry is throughout hotel . I don't mean a slight smell ... It is overwhelming , eye tearing . Our clothes and belongings smelled after being in the hotel 5 min. There appears to be people living in hotel , cooking their dinner in the staff area. Also , during breakfast , watched the server drop the buffet serving utensil on the ground , pick up and put right back in the food for use ... YUCK

Stopped here for the night on the way to North Carolina. The staff was extremely friendly and very helpful. Room was perfect for the price. I would definitely stay here again.

The room we were given had very dim lighting -- there were 3 lamps that worked and one that didn't. Even so, it was a very dimly lit room and very depressing to be staying in. Most of the time when we've been at Quality Inns, we have been given better lit rooms. This room was also smaller than what we have been given in the past, for three people. We were very disappointed in the accommodations this time. We also booked our room on Hotels.com and paid for the room on December 12th, 2014. However, when we checked out of the hotel on December 25, 2014, we were charged again! We are still waiting to hear that the second payment has been credited. Why the check out clerk charged us a SECOND TIME, I don't understand. When questioned about it, he denied any other charge to our account!
