Welcome to the Future!Posted Nov 23, 2014
This was a one of a kind experience. An eco friendly wellness hotel dedicated to healthy living. My room had a personal workout station with yoga mat, balance ball, and an assortment of other equipment. The room was very comfortable and the bathroom immaculate. It was a wonderful experience with the friendliest staff I've ever come across in my travels.

Different!Posted Oct 16, 2014
This hotel tries very hard to appear different in terms of design, layout, and including such things in the room as exercise equipment. The difference makes it interesting, but in the end its still a moderate level hotel. Best thing going for this place is that it is very new and clean. Worth a stay.

Convenient location in NorwalkPosted Oct 6, 2014
Pros: I liked all of the phrases that were written on the walls throughout the hotel which encouraged wellness.
Cons: A pool or water component would be nice.
Location: We were in the area for a family wedding so we did not take advantage of activities nearby.
We arrived and were checked in promptly. The hotel amenities are all centered on the concept of wellness. The fitness center had machines to develop the entire body. Each room had a balance ball, stretch bands, floor mat and yoga blocks. The in-room TV had guided exercises for complete body wellness. The food served in the hotel was organic and tasty. It was a total wellness experience and not one to be missed!!!

Refreshing stay while on business. Nothing odd :)Posted Sep 19, 2014
Pros: Every design element I saw had a purpose, yet it it not a utilitarian IKEA-like vibe. Rather modern, efficient, avant garde feel all around.
Happy I picked EVEN on a business trip as it was closest to my client's offices. It's modern design is extremely well thought out and executed. All hotel staff were very cheerful, polite and helpful. I was are greeted by the two friendly attendants in the uncluttered lobby where my check in was a breeze. They enthusiastically answered my questions about the hotel, and volunteered info about other EVENs opening soon elsewhere. There pointed me to the 4 dispensers of cold water infused with various natural herbs, fruits, and even cucumber, and tiny cotton facial towels available. My room was a Wellness room, which means I had my own exercise equipment including all you need for pilates, yoga, stretching, and resistance training. A graduated pole stands unobtrusively on one side of the room with several resistance bands. You have full channel access to your own DirecTv on a fully adjustable and movable Samsung LED screen, which turns on to an exercise channel that guides you in the use of the equipment and to follow the routines you prefer. Lighting is LED and dimmable. Floor is cork and carpet. Bathroom has a modern and stylish shower area with sliding glass doors. Hair dryer included. King bed had a comfortable Simmons Beauty-something mattress - high quality, but I prefer a firm bed. Storage comprised of a small closet and several shelves. Iron and board included. Whiteboard sits behind a small panel that flips as a flat surface. USB charging outlets everywhere.

UniquePosted Sep 7, 2014
Pros: Not too cookie-cutter hotel-like, which was mostly good, though a couple of drawers in which to put things would not have gone amiss.
Cons: Air conditioner was positioned so close to the bed that it blew a cold wind over one side of it.
Location: Across the street from the area where I was working, which was very convenient.
Hotel has a nice Euro-modern vibe to it, combined with in-room exercise equipment. The latter was useful, because I didn't get a chance to go down and use the gym. It included a floor-to-ceiling vertical pole, used to anchor exercise bands for simple strength work. Part of the modern vibe as a tunable-led mood lamp, though I never quite got the hang of the odd icons on the buttons, so I'm not sure I used it right. But cool, nevertheless. Staff was very friendly.

Modern hotel with a Spa feelPosted Sep 4, 2014
Pros: Quiet, calming and relaxed feel.
Cons: Like it or not unless you have full time security around there are smokers and they sat on the curb of the parking lot throwing butts and trash.
Location: I was there on business so I didn't get to do any site seeing. I will say that it is a beautiful street.
This should be considered the travelers friend. Walking into the hotel you see that it has a very calming color scheme and there is herbal, calming tea set out on the front desk. The room has a work out mat as well as a board so you can write down your achievements. They do charge for a cup of coffee and your breakfast, but you wont pay as much as you do at Starbucks. The bed was so comfortable I truly got a great night's sleep.
