No fridge for beer

Stay was not comfertable as the room did not had fridge for beer and bedsheets was torn!! No breakfast for booking with Expedia ..

Overall very good experience. Some areas of the hotel could use updating, and the breakfast should be open until later on the weekends. The room was clean and comfortable with a nice large bathroom.

Not a chip of the Hilton Brand

Pros: Early check in only.
Cons: Everything. From needed repairs to the room where we stayed to better breakfast food. Also, having your guests with children maintain better control.
Location: Not worth it.
When I think about a Hilton Hotel, I think about nothing but luxury, well nothing could be farther from the truth when it comes to the Hilton hotel at 1 Stamford Place, in Stamford, Ct. The room had stains all over the place, I have pictures of paint peeling from the walls, rusted towel racks, outdated and cheap-looking furniture, dilapidated couch, cracked tiles in the shower that is unfit for proper showering. Also, I took a sound recording of a faucet problem that made noises through-out the night. Also the heating and cooling system in the rooms didn't work properly and when we called the front desk, we were told that a maintenance or repair person was working on the problem. Ugly and faded drapes also adorned the windows; please change that. Disgusting. The breakfast food we paid for at the Senses restaurant was awful. I don't mind paying even up to $50 for breakfast, but you should ensure that the meal is edible. The bacon was hard; tasted like paper, the glasses on the table was dirty, and when I asked for clean glasses the attendant refused to give me clean glasses, he just poured water in the glasses and ignored me. Classless. You had a convention at your hotel and there were young children running up and down the hallways all night long, and then the next morning the children were up early and still running up and down the corridors of the hotel. I have no problem with conventions or children, but I paid $700 plus to stay at your crappy hotel and I am not happy.

Pros: great breakfast, friendly helpful staff
Cons: Finding it is difficult without a GPS and the entrance comes up on you, unannounced, pretty quickly. Easy to overshoot.
Front desk is very accomodating. Got in very late at night and they took extra time to clearly explain parking and access. Because it was very slow and we were obviously exhausted they upgraded our room and isolated us so we could sleep in late.

Nice hotel

Good stay however, beds were not comfortable. Not close to anything walking distance. Stamford metro north station close hotel shuttle will take you there. Be aware it's a hotel that host events so the pool was closed early both nights were there. The pool was clean however, not heated. Had a problem with the safe in my room waited 30 minutes before someone came to fix it. Overall a good stay.

Close to the Connecticut Film Center

Disappointed in the food and hotel room cleanlines

I brought my own comforter in case there was no blanket. There was none! Ok, so happy I had mine. Also, I ordered the smoke salmon, cream cheese and bagel breakfast. And it was slimy and not good! It seemed as though the salmon was frozen and thawed in the micro wave. I lived in NY for 14 years and this was the worst salmon ever! So, get the word out! As a business owner, I expect better, especially coming from Ohio. Regard , Angela-One Angel Wing Designs, Ltd.

Great Rate

Pros: Clean and comfortable. Exactly what you should expect from a Hilton. Would definitely stay again if I can get the same rate.
Was only looking for a reasonable hotel in the vicinity - and found this. We needed a place with comfortable beds and clean linens and a great shower after a 22 hour drive. Perfect!

Great birthday weekend!

Cons: There were fruit flies and the rug needed to be cleaned.
