“Offically over it”

I've stayed at this hotel a few different times because I have obligations in the area - this time was the last time. The rooms are run down and filthy - this time there were huge holes in the wall, the showers are always rusty and gross. The staff is nice and the lobby is clean but nothing else is worthwhile. I will be trying another one of the local hotels next time.

“Never, Never, Never Again”

Talk about not being clean, the pool has mold growing on the sides. We stayed for two days because there was not another room available for 50 miles (University of AL was in town playing FL Gators). We left in the morning and when we returned in the afternoon our bed had been stripped and that was all. Garbage was still in the room, no clean towels, etc. I called the front desk to ask when our room could be finished and was told that they had no idea, their motel was full and they were busy.

“Just one word: Disgusting”

We had to travel to Gainesville on a rush , we booked the room 7 days before but all the hotels in Gainesville were full because of the football weekend , therefore i thought the Days Inn at Starke was a good idea , i was wrong , the hotel is disgusting , the bathroom is so dirty that the smell would keep you from entering , the TV and the clock radio are from the early 90's . We just checked out and called all the hotels in Gainesville and found a room at La Quinta Inn and ran away from that town. Another thing , be careful when driving through Starke and Waldo in your way to Gainesville , the police will pull you over if you are ONE mile over the limit , these two towns are ominously famous for the speed traps. Just keep yourself away from this town.

“Will go back next year for annual rally”

We were a little disappointed in the breakfast buffet as they ran out of coffee! Other than that, room was clean, plenty of towels, heat and AC ran well and was quiet, and most of the personnel were friendly and helpful. Also there were places to eat within walking distance.

The employees were helpful and friendly. Located near good restaurants. Easy access to I-10

“Not impressed!”

The "breakfast" and the breakfast was so dirty we wouldn't eat there. The security chain was broken on the connecting door and the microwave and refrigerator that were supposed to be there were not. Overall is was not a good experience.

“Just comfortable enough.”

I've stayed in better and I've stayed in worse. If you want a place that's REALLY clean and maintained, don't stay here. If you're looking to save a buck and still get a somewhat comfortable place to sleep, this will work just fine. In my room, there was a ripped/stained chair (which I didn't plan on using anyway), the TV remote was broken and the in-room alarm clock was broken.

“Not Impressed At All”

The pillows on the bed looked like they hadn't been changed from the people before us. The bathroom definitely had not been cleaned at all! We didn't have the correct amount of towels (for example: only one large towel, that was folded as if it had just been used) and the toilet had dried body fluids all over it. We will definitely not be going back.

the only problem we had was the staff kept coming up to the room befor checkout time to see if we were out yet it was 830am and very annoying outher then that it was a nice stay
