A good hotel with good pricePosted Sep 4, 2013
It's a one-night short stay and the room is clean. The overall impression is excellent. Note they do not have entrance on university drive even the street address is on university drive, which gave me a little bit hard time when driving in night and looking for entrance.

It was a dark and stormy nightPosted Jul 16, 2013 on Hotels.com
Arts Festival-Summer PA storms..Power went out for the evening. Staff was great passing out flashlights and hooking up a small temp generator to suppliment the fire/emergency lights. pool was open with adequate lighting. They opened the bar and brought out board games (who has these around?) Generator tended to flood the lobby with the smell of gas, but You gotta do what you gotta do.... Rooms were sparse in furnishing and both the TV and bathroom needed attention and the price was HIGH relative to others in the area but it was a special event and they were fully booked.....I would stay there again without a second thought, while hoping for a bit lower rate!!! Staff was great!!

It's not worth $100 a nightPosted Jul 4, 2013
I stayed at t his hotel because I wanted a comfortable night after a long day... I was wrong. The room's TV did not have a clear picture. They offered free HBO and I could not watch it since the reception was terrible. When I took a shower, the walls of the shower had soap build up. It was not good.

Great staff, great place to stayPosted May 6, 2013
Pros: Friendly staff, clean, convenient.
Cons: Really not much of a restaurant/bar but there's so many options nearby I can see why they don't need to worry about it.
Location: Convenient to campus although you will have to drive to get there.
Stayed here for PSU graduation weekend - staff was very friendly and helpful; room was very comfortable; shower was excellent (good pressure and the showerhead was normal height which is unusual). Only 1-2 miles to campus. If you can't stay at one of the on-campus hotels, this is a great alternative.

Very Clean and Exbremely ComfortablePosted Apr 15, 2013
Pros: The bed was extremely comfortable.
Cons: There was no ATM.
Location: Convenient location.
Our room was extremely clean. The bed was probably the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. One thing that I particularly liked was that the window drapes completely blocked out the sunlight. The only down side was the absence of an ATM in the hotel. I would definitely return to this hotel and I would definitely recommend it to friends, family, and colleagues.

Great Hotel. This was not my first stay at this location. For a hotel in this price range, the level of service and decor was well above other similar property's that I have stayed. The most exciting part of the stay was the extremely comfortable bed. thanks!

Great, Comfortable Hotel Close to State CollegePosted Feb 11, 2013
Pros: Staff, location, pool
Location: there is as red robin right next door to the hotel
We stayed in this hotel for a weekend and were very impressed with the friendliness of the staff and cleanliness of the room. It was not overly extravagant, but it was exactly what we needed--a nice, comfortable place to stay for a couple night. Also includes a pool, hot tub, and gym. Would recommend to anyone.
