“Employees helpful”

The hotel was very close to campus and downtown, can't walk there but it's only a hop skip and jump away. The employees were very pleasant, friendly and helpful. Would stay again.

Area recommendations

Hershey, PA. Lots to see and do. Home of the "Hershey Bar". Nice little town.

“Tailgaters heaven!!”

I love staying at this hotel. It is minutes from Beaver Stadium and with the free breakfast (which is excellent as well as the coffee) you are set for an early start to the tailgating. The hotel is clean, my son forgot his toothbrush and they had one for him at the front desk. I prefer to stay here.

“Clean and convenient to PSU”

I've stayed here several times when visiting Penn State. The hotel is clean, the staff is friendly, and the rooms are decent. I can't say what it's like on a football weekend (I avoid those like the plague), but for a regular business trip, it's a very convenient place to stay.

“Terrific Stay”

Couldn't have been better. We were nervous to secure a rollaway bed on a busy weekend, and I had multiple contacts with hotel staff prior to our arrival, which were reassuring. And there was the bed! Staff were pleasant and efficient, room was great, parking exceptional. Breakfast exceeded any expectation. And when our student went off on his own and my wife and I had an opportunity for an impromptu "vacation", the pool turned out to be better than we expected! Highly recommended.

Area recommendations

State College is a great college town. We would always wish to stay downtown, but when downtown isn't available, which is usually, this Hampton Inn couldn't be more convenient to both downtown and the PSU campus.

“Will always go back”

Quiet location, good breakfast selection, friendly/accommodating staff. Only downfall is the lack of tv stations... fairly limited. Just right for an overnighter or a few days stay. Close to all restaurants as well Damian's restaurant in same parking lot as hotel. Always very pleased when staying here.

Atherholt is the main avenue which will get you to any number of shopping spots, as well as College ave. Just depends on what your preferences are.

“PSU #1”

This Hampton Inn is a great location for visiting PSU especially for the football and basketball games. Once you arrive at the hotel you can walk to the stadium.

“Clean and Comfortable”

Check in was a breeze, room was comfortable and clean. Continental breakfast was good, overall I was very satisfied with the hotel.
