“Great Hotel in the Country”

Staff was friendly and helpful. Manager gave the kids each a candy bar when we arrived. Pool and hot tub were clean and we were lucky to have them all to ourselves. Breakfast was fresh and good!

“Best bed linens”

The bed linens were the best I've slept on in any hotel. They felt as good as my 600 count sheets at home.

“Lamar PA's Best Hotel”

When you need to stay in Lamar, PA stay at The Hampton Inn. It may be slightly more expensive than the competition but well worth it! Especially the continental breakfast!

“Great Hotel Close to State College”

This is the second time we've stayed at this hotel. I am extremely satisfied with the cleanliness of the hotel & rooms. The service from the staff is wonderful & they are always smiling, friendly, & ready to help. When we checked into our room we found out the TV didn't work & the front desk was happy to get us into another room. The breakfast in the morning is good with many options. It is kept clean & stocked. We had plans at Penn State & the hotel is about a half hour away. The drive to Penn State was an easy one! I would recommend this hotel to all of my friends!

The hotel was very clean and comfortable, especially the beds. The Breakfast in the AM was delicious. The pool was absolutely freezing though, too cold to swim. I don't think many people use it so I assume it was not heated.

“Good Hotel!”

While I wish all hotels would get rid of those metal security latches that allow people hold open there doors, due to people going in and out of rooms and the latches slamming the doors at all hours of the night and morning, this hotel was clean, warm and friendly! Breakfast was adequate and clean kept! Good hotel overall!

“We'll stay here again!!!!”

This hotel was chosen for the convenience of the location, it turned out to be such a great choice that we will stay here again the next time we are in the area. Hotel was beautifully maintaine, staff was courteous and friendly down to the maintenance crew. Room was cleaned daily to the standard that we found when we checked in and not just straightened as sometime we have found in other hotels. The breakfast provided was good and well presented not just plopped on tables. It was maintained the entire time it was available so the selection was as good if you came down at 9:30 as it was at 7:00 when it was opened. The choicec of food was good, changed each day enough that you could find something you liked and they had enough variety to please eveyone.
