Ok hotel. Pricey for the area.

I wasn't expecting to pay so much for an okay hotel in an area where there's not much to do.

Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your stay. We are glad you chose to stay with us during your stay in the Lewistown Area. At first glance you might think our area doesn't have much to do but our local chamber of commerce actually compiled a notebook for our hotel called "A Guide to the usual and the unusual services and attractions of Mifflin and Juniata Counties". It is loaded with lots of fun things to do for example Wednesday in BIg Valley visit the Belleville Livestock Auction, Flea Market and Antique shops. a lot of guests to our area enjoy visiting Local Wineries, Covered Bridges or take the walking tour of downtown Lewistown to see the Many Murals and the Restoration work at the Embassy Theatre. Please be sure to stop at the desk and ask what to do when next in our area. Thanks for Staying with us!

Worst Hotel I ever stayed at

Non smoking room reeked of smoke. Toilet flushed every time the room next door flushed. Room was not cleaned before we arrived. Asked to be moved and was told no. Manager very rude about our stay and to kick it all off they charged $150/night. I would not even give this hotel 1 star.

Thank you for telling us about your stay. I am so sorry that your first experience at our hotel was not a pleasant one. Let me assure you that this is not the norm for our hotel. Our housekeeping and maintenance staff do an excellent job of keeping our room clean and in good working order. We receive many compliments from our guests. Please do not let this one bad incident keep you from coming back and giving us another chance. Thank you again for bring the matter to my attention.

After we had to move rooms because we were put in a non dog room with our dogs, the stay was good. The comfortable beds were our favorite part.

We reserved a room with king size bed and we were given two double beds. With the price we were paying we expected breakfast. They have a dining room where you can order and pay for your breakfast. The doors of the rooms had peeling paint and loose wall paper on the walls. The room was dog friendly, which we wanted, but not kept up. We will probably try the hotel across the street the next time we visit.

Checked in to hotel room and went to restaurant next door. Food was real good and staff was friendly.

Thank you so much for staying with us. Tony's Restaurant is the best restaurant in town. We are all so glad you enjoyed it. I hope you got a chance to enjoy our famous Tony's Salad. Tony's has a lot of awesome entrees to choose from. You will need to come back many times to try our famous Fish & Chips, Lasagna and Spaghetti and Meatballs just to name a few. Inefficient personal, but great location.

We were a group of 21 people and this is nothing this hotel was capable of handling when it came to check out. We used more than 1/2 hour. We pre-booked breakfast and even this ended up with delays of up to 35 min. Having said this the location suited us perfect and the beds was great for a good night sleep and a very tasteful breakfast at Tony's restaurant. Happy hour after work was one if the highlights for the group.
