“Nice Place to Stay”

The rates were reasonable & the place was nice. The staff was friendly & helpful i liked the breakfast area..I was pleasantly surprised, as I wasn't sure what to expect.

“Quick Overnight”

The bathroom was a little small and the shower was tight. The rooms are not large, but for the price, it is a good value. The breakfast was solid. Beds were comfortable.

“Very good value”

The rooms are clean, comfortable and close to Penn State. We have returned to this hotel several times. We intend to return in the future.

“so convenient to Penn”

Clean and quiet. Not much in the way of breakfast, but it was okay. You must try the Italian restaurant across the street for dinner!

“Sleep Inn-Penn State”

I have stayed at this hotel in the past and choose it for two reasons: the fitness room and breakfast in the morning. It is located behind the Friday's on Atherton and is close to campus.

“Disappointing”

We chose this hotel based on many positive reviews we read on Expedia. While the room itself was decent and clean, it was absolutely the smallest hotel room we've ever had, with no room to even put out suitcases. The bathroom was split - toilet and shower behind a door, but the sink/vanity were out in the open with no privacy at all.

“Great hotel at a great price”

We needed an inexpensive hotel near the State College airport for one night. This was perfect. A small room, but very welcoming with an in-room coffee maker and a very comfortable bed.

“Great beds at Sleep Inn”

Clean, comfortable, friendly - I would go back again.

Area recommendations
Downtown shopping and restaurants are great. Campus is impressive.
