“A great place to sleep at an appropriate rate.”
The non-smoking room still had a odor of stale tobacco smoke, but it was tolerable. I think it was worse after taking a shower and the resultant higher humidity. Still, well worth the rate I paid. There is no direct access off highway 322(Bus.) so I drove by it twice (in daylight) before I realized I had to turn onto the side street, which does have a traffic light. It is a busy area with all the commercialism. Look for the overhead sign at the intersection: E. BRANCH ROAD. It may refer to the east branch of a creek named "Slab Cabin Run" which runs along the west side of the hotel. The low point of 322 there is at the creek and the intersection is just up to the east. Knowing that would have helped me find the hotel, as I missed the Super 8 sign the first time by and I didn't see the sign until it was too late to turn onto East Branch Road.
“Nice hotel”
Nice hotel, newer, breakfast was great-alot of choices compared to other hotels.
“State College”
Within 5 miles of all kind of shopping. Also near pleanty of fast food resturants. Minutes from the main Hwy
“Very imressed”
Hotel was the least expensive in the area and we were pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness and decor. We were also happy with the free breakfast bar.
“Pleasant Weekend”
I spent the weekend with a group of high school boys and attended an athletic event at Penn State - a perfect location for this type of trip. Nice breakfast in the hotel.
“Better than Expected”
We stayed at the Super 8 becuase they allowed pets at the hotel. However, we were not expecting to stay a great hotel. We were mistaken. The rooms were nice, service was outstanding, and we were walking distance to resteraunts.
“awesom!”
very nice and clean place. quality was way better than many other famous places, less money. will stay here again any time I visit State College. thank you to all personnel for the wonderful job!
“Basic but Clean”
We drove up from Florida for a Penn State game and stayed two nights. The room was very basic but it was clean. Breakfast was muffins, bagels, cereal, etc. The location was close to downtown State College. We drove the two miles into town and parked in a garage, and then we walked to the stadium to avoid the game traffic. We would stay again. The price was right. Alot of Penn Stater Alumni were also staying.
“"Relaxing Overnight Stay"”
I frequent the State College, PA area, and Super 8 is usually my first choice - the rooms are clean and spacious, and the staff is friendly, always willing to answer any questions I might have. Based on my last few stays, I don't expect to shop around for a better deal - this hotel is well worth the cost.
“Great place!”
It's a clean and quiet place. Very cheap, friendly people and good bang for your bucks.
