“Relaxing stay”
The Penn Stater was a very nice place to stay while attending a swim meet at Penn State. Good location and easy to get to. Enjoyed the Fitness center and pool and the extended hours of both. Room was very nice and comfortable.
“Great place”
Excellent location and accomodations plus on campus. Can't wait to go back, especially to Legends Pub
“great hotel for parents”
Staff was friendly, rooms were clean and comfortable, will be staying there again soon
“Will use this hotel again..very impressed”
It was easily accessible to PSU campus from hotel with a shuttle available at any time...staff were very friendly & eager to give directions or even suggestions as to where things were..room was spacious and very clean & comfortable..it was a wonderful weekend which we enjoyed very much & will return soon!
“Great place to stay at PSU”
This hotel was very clean and staff provide great service. Penn Stater Conference center also has a pub, Legends, with delicious food!
“Near Bellefonte”
As a "conference" hotel, the Penn Stater is a bit different than most hotels. Specifically, the public areas are huge and the conference areas are a bit spare, but it is a gorgeous, very chic hotel. Dining room is beautiful, conference rooms are excellent and well-equipped. Guest rooms are exquisitely decorated and very comfortable and well-appointed. Only complaint - no 'business center" as such, where one can go online or check e-mail. However, free internet is available everywhere if you have brought your own laptop.
“Very friendly & courteous staff; would definitely stay again.”
Staff was very courteous and willing to help make our stay better. We were given immediate shuttle rides to both the campus and to the airport, despite the fact that the "scheduled" shuttle had left just 15 minutes earlier. Granted we were not there during a busy period, but the staff was very friendly and accommodating.
“Quick overnight trip made easy and comfortable”
I made a quick trip to state college for my dad. Hotel is near the hospital. They were courteous and room was very comfortable. I was traveling alone and felt safe which is always my number one concern. Pool and hot tub were great. Nice fitness room. Didn't get to try any of the restaurants as I was there too breifly. Got a great rate on expedia and would definitely stay there again. Would love to go when I have more time to enjoy the whole place.
“Excellent experience”
The Hotel was nicely appointed, VERY quiet, with two nice restaurants on site. It is located just outside Penn State campus and town but just a short drive. Hotel offers free shuttle service as alternative. Legends Sports Bar has several TVs and excellent selection of local brews. Other restaurant is very nice with good food quality and excellent wait staff. Waiter was most friendly I have had in a long time. Free WiFi and quality matress was appreciated. Excellent experience all around.
“Will Be Staying Here for Future Family Visits”
My father and I were visiting Penn State and stayed at the Penn Stater. Everyone was so incredibly helpful and friendly. The room was tidy, had a beautiful view, and was much larger than we had originally anticipated. The television also had many television channels. The shuttle system is also amazing and the drivers are beyond friendly and helpful and went out of their way to give their own tours of the school to my father and I and even made some stops for pictures! My family will definitely be staying here when they visit me in the next few years.
