Good Time

Posted May 4, 2015
Pros: Everything, except room temp.
Cons: Temperature adjustment in the room.
Location: We went to see Garth Brooks at the Bryce Jordan Center.
Everything was great except the room was to hot and we everything we did to the thermostat didn't seem to help.

Perfect for Bryce Jordan Center Event

Posted May 1, 2015
Pros: Everything
Location: We had no trouble finding many restaurants close by.
We stayed for a concert at the Bryce Jordan Center and the hotel had a bus take us to and from the concert which was wonderful since we were not familiar with the area. The driver got us there and back with no long traffic waits. The hotel was very nice and clean, staff was very pleasant. Would stay again and again!

Ok

Posted Apr 29, 2015
Pros: Bed was comfortable and the pulled pork sandwich in the "pub" was great.
Cons: Atmosphere - at least during special weekends.
Location: No clue, we arrived late in the afternoon and left the next morning after breakfast. I can say that the immediate area was almost devoid of life.
I stayed with my mom on the night of April 24th for the Garth Brooks concert at the Bryce Jordan Center. The hotel itself was clean and modern and staff were generally pleasant. However, the atmosphere just brought me down. You would not have known that a major recording artist was in town for a concert that night. We saw Garth in Buffalo at the beginning of March and the hotel did a fabulous job of making concert goers feel special with a decorated lobby, Garth music, door prizes, specials and much more. This hotel was just plain boring. Also, it is located on the Penn State campus (I think) but don't expect to get a collegiate "feel," there was almost literally no human beings outside. It was weird, like the twilight zone.

Clean nice hotel

Posted Apr 27, 2015
Pros: Clean
Cons: Staff could be more helpful.
The hotel was very clean good area close to Penn State. The only negative I was there for concert and they provided shuttle service that was great Going to the concert everything worked out. It seemed at the end of the night picking up guests did not go so well they should have been better prepared. It was very cold out and we stood in the cold for a long time until a very nice gentleman that worked the concert called a bus to come pick us up. The bus driver was off duty but out of kindness brought us back to hotel. Because of this I probably would not stay there again.

Lounge Capacity

Posted Apr 27, 2015
I was kinda shock the Lounge area only holds about 60 people, when the hotel capacity is probably at least 300-400 people. The food was good both at the Lounge and the Garden restaurant. I would definitely stay there again.

Happy with stay.

Posted Apr 22, 2015
The bathroom could have used a little updating, and the carpet should be replaced. Otherwise, the room was fine, and the hotel staff was very nice. I would stay there again.

Very nice hotel. Clean and comfortable.

Posted Apr 21, 2015
Cons: The sheets on the bed were strange. They really couldn't be pulled up over the shoulder.
First rate hotel. Very clean and comfortable. We will stay there again.

Nice modern hotel

Posted Apr 6, 2015
Pros: Spacious, comfortable rooms
Near to Beaver stadium and East halls, but you will need to drive. They offer a shuttle service until 11 PM which is helpful. Rooms are very spacious and allow room to spread out, which I appreciate because I am always working when I am in a hotel, so I need a place to set up the computer and do paperwork, and I prefer not to do it on the bed.

Good clean room. Nice hotel. TV in room wasn't HD - in this day and age it should be.
