Nasty

We went to this hotel and had chosen it because we had 4 children with us. They offered a King size bed and pull out sofa in this room. The checkin was pleasant enough. Staff was nice and helpful. The room was nice enough but the pull out bed had no sheets on it and we had to request some from the front desk. As we made up the bed we noticed the frame wasnt in the best condition and the mattress had a lot of stains. We decided to pull the mattress on the floor and flip it over hoping to make it more comfortable for the kids. When we flipped the mattress off the sofa we found an old eaten pile of molded chicken bones and shrimp!!!!!!!! We put two quilts over the mattress along with the sheets and folded the chicken bones back in the sofa. Told the front desk who comped us 10 bucks the next morning. On the bright side animals are allowed and you never know where there may be a treat lurking.

Great hotel for the price

Pros: Easy access from I-77, quiet, and price.
Cons: Breakfast menu was limited
Location: Great location near restaurants and other shopping
No bad surprises. Easy access from I-77. Very quite. Free breakfast was sparse. Would stay there again.

Mixed feelings
Posted Jan 28, 2012
Staff was pleasant and courteus. Room was fair because of late discovery of house cleaning staff not performing as expected. Dirdy towel found on floor behind bathroom door. Coffe grounds and filter not removed from coffe machine. Dirt and dust on a/c unit control area. Some aunts crawling on tub and walls due to small hole in shower wall. Beds were comfortable, floors were clean and beds were made well. Unit was extremly quiet!!!:) After the first night, I mentioned it to the day Manager, and when we returned for the day, all problems were resolved. Nice second night!

Dog friendly?

We picked this motel because it was pet friendly. We requested a smoke free room with king bed. When we arrived, after an 9 hour drive, they had no pet rooms available. We were given a room with double beds on second floor. Had to carry dog up the steps, as she would not go up stairs on her own. The room was $20 dollars more than your internet price. We were too tired to complain
