great BnB with quaint atmosphere

Posted Jun 21, 2013 on Hotels.com
This was our first time staying at a BnB, and we were very happy with our stay. The neighborhood is a storybook town. We were only there for a Tuesday night, and the only guests. Breakfast was delicious, and we got to here about the history of the house during that time.We highly recommend this place for anyone staying in Statesville.

Down home folks host The Kerr House

Posted Feb 26, 2013
You couldn't ask for nicer hosts. Pam and John was very interested in making our stay in the area and at the B&B very nice. The Kerr House has a lot of character and a very comfortable place to stay. Breakfast by Pam and served by John was wonderful and different for both our mornings at the Kerr House. Hope to return someday.

Excellent hosts, John and Pam truly want you to have a nice experience. We spent 2 nights and breakfast was not only different each day, but was very good. Looking forward to returning as soon as we can.

a small gem of a bed and breakfast

Posted Jun 20, 2012 on Hotels.com
Our room was beautifully furnished with a sleigh bed and comfortable wing chairs for reading. It was like a step back in time. We sat in the wrap-around porch on the rocking chairs after dinner. The breakfast was beautifully served on lovely old china in the dining room--fresh fruit, coffee, and French toast with nuts and bananas. There are only 4 rooms that are lovingly maintained by the owners who live in the house. My husband drank his morning coffee in the garden and watched rabbits in the garden.

Very nice B&B. Nice People, and a great breakfast.

Typical B&B style hotel with uneven floors and a big bed. Great breakfast, reading room, and yard. Not the place if you need a big TV.
