Avoid at all cost

Posted Sep 5, 2014
Booked a nonsmoking room but got smoking. The carpet had cigarette burns. It smelled like a giant ashtray. The hotel overall was dirty. Worst experience of any hotel I've ever stayed at. Don't ever stay there? Sleep in your car instead.

Disappointing Night

Posted Sep 5, 2014
Pros: We liked nothing about the hotel.
Cons: The whole hotel needs a major face lift.
Location: We were traveling through so did need to know about the the location.
Saw one price online but was told it wasn't available was given another price twice the amount. Had requested non smoking room, was given a smoking room that looked shabby. Was given another room where the air conditioner didn't cool down the rooms and the windows were sealed. The free breakfast wasn't worth staying for. From now on I will make my own reservations.

enjoyed it!

Pros: comfortable and clean.
Cons: problems with TV
Nice, clean place to stay. Nice swimming pool! The staff was courteous and helpful. The breakfast was hot and tasteful. It was an overall pleasant stay. I was looking for a clean, comfortable place to spend the night with family and Comfort Inn was the place to stay.

Good hotel if you just need a place to sleep

Posted Aug 12, 2014
Location: There is not a whole lot close by in the way of restaurants. It is what one should expect from a very small town hotel. Not much; things close early.
As others have noted, the hotel needs a lot of updating for the rooms, but it is clean, decently comfortable, and just fine if you are simply looking for a place to sleep. And, for the price, that is good enough more me in most instances.

Not bad for 1 night stay

Posted Aug 4, 2014
Pros: Stafffs were good.
Cons: Breakfast. Extra guest charge.
Location: Location is ok. Nothing available within 3 miles.
Rooms are decent. No places to eat nearby. WI FI is not strong enough. Breakfast is very basic with apples, bagels and coffee. Extra charge of parties more than 2

Our money's worth

We got exactly what we expected when we made the reservation - a basic, no-frills hotel where we got a comfortable night's sleep right off the interstate so we could get back on the road quickly and easily in the morning. The rooms are old but updated enough. Very large and spacious. Good shower. We did get a little creeped out when the alarm clock made a couple of strange noises when we turned out the light, but it seemed to just be an odd reaction to a cell phone that was too near it. Overall the price was right for us.

Beautiful Room - Located in area with NO SERVICES

Posted Jun 13, 2014 on Hotels.com
First, I was led to believe the hotel was an "inside" rooms, instead of a motel like, outside access to all rooms type motel. The room I was in had recently been redone and was extremely nice and comfortable and clean. HOWEVER, the location, while off the main turnpike, has no services close enough to walk to. There is no restaurant, fast food, ANY food, close by. You have to get in your car and drive one exit back or one exit forward. NOT a good thing when you arrive late and just want to get something fast to eat and rest before you leave the next day. I would never stay in such an isolated motel/hotel again. I was happy I had a few snacks and a bottle of water in the car.
