“simple but nice”

the hotel is right off the highway in a non congested area. there is nice scenery but not much to do at the exit. the breakfast is taken away a little too early. at 8:50 there was very little left. staff friendly and room was clean but very simple.

Area recommendations

staunton has historic buildings and nice scenery only a 10 minute ride.

“will definitely stay again!”

I was a little skeptical booking this Days Inn after some of the reviews. But it turned out being a fantastic choice! The manager, Brenda, was such a sweetheart and very helpful! The breakfast room was redone and looked like a palace, it was beautiful! The rooms are older, but have been well maintained, with a couple upgrades. Everything was spotless, bathroom included, and the sheets were pearly white. The room was a little musty when I first arrived, but after running the AC for a few mins, the air was fresh and clean. I loved the neighboring town, plenty of food and sweet people. For a 21y/o female staying alone I felt perfectly safe and happy :)

Area recommendations

Stuarts Draft is a town filled wnith sweet caring people. I visited the schools there and all students. (Including high schoolers) were polite and sweet. Very genuine.

“Excellent Breakfast”

Easily found from the Interstate. Ten miles from hotel to shopping center, but easy to find and return to hotel. Getting started the next day is a breeze.

Area recommendations

Take the next exit in I-81, there are several good restaurants and stores and a large supermarket available. Really useful if you need ice, food items, etc.

“great amenities, perfect for travellers with children”

Our room was nice and clean, we loved the hot waffles for breakfast, but for us, the best thing about this hotel was a great playground where our lil boy could let some steam out after being confined in the car. the only thing to be aware of, their breakfast ends at 9 am, so do not be late!

The motel was hard to find with the map that was provided with the site. We were familiar with the area and it took us at least 30 minutes to find it.

“Could have been worse”

It was slightly below average for a roadside motel. On the plus side, there were no bugs. Room smelled like smoke.
