can't fault it save the jacuzzin didnt work for 2/3 days

Everything was perfect apart from one little thing... The hot tub wasn't hot.

Nice hotel close to the centre in quiet area. Staff friendly and responded quickly to requests. The best feature is the swimming pool in the basement, shallow but good for swimming lengths, and warm. Also a good fitness room. I would certainly go back. May 2014

Good service, and affordable

POSITIVE: The room we had was newly redecorated. The sheets were comfy, the bathroom is nice enough. Friendly/helpful staff. The kids loved the pool. The breakfast selection was 6 out 10 stars in my opinion. NEGATIVE: No refrigerator inside the room, but they have an 'icecube-maker' in the hallway.

Pros: One of the cleanest (yet VERY cosy) hotel rooms I have stayed in. Very helpful staff, and great breakfast!
Cons: I can honestly say that the room was excellent, and that I cannot think of anything that could have been improved.
Location: Stavanger has a great collection of restaurants, bars, and shops.
The staff within the hotel provided fantastic service, and saw that our request for a Queen bed (rather than two single beds, which was also stated as a possibility when booking) was met. They were very friendly and did their best to ensure our stay was an enjoyable one. The breakfast was great!

Adequate Accommodations Within Walking to Sights

The Radisson Blu Royal in Stavanger offered nice accommodations and a great breakfast. The person managing at breakfast was very nice and provided tips on which museums to see. The location is within walking distance to many of the sights, however, the walk back is up some very steep hills. Service to the room was adequate and consistent.

Good solid 4* hotel

Pros: Quiet, good rooms, with all the amenities that one would expect
Cons: The menu for room service left much to be desired - firstly, it was quiet "junk food" heavy, where were the wonderful Norwegian dishes?
Stayed for business and found the establishment to be pretty much as one would expect of a 4* hotel. Comfortable room, pleasant decor in the hotel and atrium, and food that was good quality.
