“Service at Front Desk was miserable”
Service at Front Desk was miserable.

Very nice hotel. The breakfast was good. They Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches, fruit, and waffles. Can't ask for anything better.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The public transportation bus stop was right around the corner - very convenient. Above everything though, I found the hotel staff very friendly and helpful.

My wife and I were on a 3 day walking event in Colorado, where we were walking 6 10k walks in 6 different counties. We had just walked a 10k in Aspen, drove to Eagle and walked another 10K, then drove to Steamboat Springs(2 hours) to stay, rest & recouperate. We would be up at 5:30, pack, eat breakfast then walk a 10K in Steamboat, then drive to Walden, walk another 10K, then drive to Silverthorne for the night. Well, our first room was above the front entrance, where cars & trucks come & go a lot, at all hours. I could see this room would not be quiet. The man at the front desk, then gave me a room on the top floor, facing the back. This was good. Then we went to the Hot Tub & Pool, to get some massage from the jets on our tired muscles. Filled with Kids, diving, splashing, yelling. We sat in the Hot Tub, enjoying that, but when we went into the pool, I told them, to please quit diving & splashing. Most of them went to the Hot Tub. Then, more kids came and went into the pool and a splash party started. kids in the Hot Tub were splashing kids in the pool. Then a kid jumped in next to my wife(Cannonball) and scared her, splashed her disrupting our relaxation. We left without getting the benefits of the Hot Tub & Pool for our bodies. Then, that night at about 10:30, kids were playing LaCrosse in the hallway. This went on for a half hour until someone stopped it. Good thing, I was burning mad. We really did NOT enjoy this stay.
“Great room, mediocre breakfast”
Room and service were great. The only thing I'd suggest improving would be the breakfast. The sausage certainly needs to change. Not many, if any, healthy options available; that could certainly improve.
“Nice and clean...”
I recently went on a two week road trip, and by far, this was the best place that we stayed at. Nice, clean and the front desk staff was incredibly nice.
“Great Stay”
I had fun at this hotel! The community jacuzzi was awesome- met some cool people. The jacuzzi in the room was great as well! Just wish all the jets worked, and you could see the tv and fireplace better. Curtains were tricky, but overall a great room!Wish there was a full service restaurant/bar. The continental b-fast was great!!! I recommend this place!!
