The room was large with a sitting area and large bathroom. Quiet and comfortable. Location was close to town and anything you might need.

Small and noisy.

Bathroom is very small and the door just misses the toilet. Air conditioner was noisy and with the window open the parking lot was noisy. Staff was nice and the hotel was clean, however every door was hard to open.

Cons: New mattresses wouldn't hurt.
It's clean, quiet, near the stuff you want to do, air conditioning works, excellent water pressure in the shower. And don't make restaurant decision without first checking with April at the desk.

Welcoming

Cons: Breakfast seating
Location: Just a short distance from downtown. The free Botanical Garden is almost directly behind the hotel, worth a stop. Fish Creek Falls is a short drive.
The chalet feel of this Hampton is very welcoming. The sitting area in the lobby was a great place to read a book, have a glass of wine and wait for the laundry to be finished. It was nice to have 2 laundry appliances. Our TV problem was fixed immediately. The only downside was breakfast seating. There were too few standard tables. There was a long high top, but although popular today, they are very uncomfortable.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The people in the hotel were very nice and helpful. We had a problem with our refrigerator and I really didn't need it replaced at night but had something that needed to remain in the freezer and they happily put it in theirs for us. The are of course is beautiful and a wonderful walking trail along the river. Will stay here everytime we are in Steamboat Springs. Thanks to all.

Great Hotel for the money

Had a great time at this hotel. The hotel lobby has vaulted ceiling with nice fireplace area and breakfast area. The pool area is outside, but is very nice with the three hot-tubs. The rooms are your typical Hampton Inn rooms. The staff is what made the trip! They were very accommodating, including John giving restaurant recommendations, the Breakfast lady visiting with us each morning, and the maid staff doing an awesome job, with even some small details thrown in. Would highly recommend this hotel!

Huge Rooms!

Our stay was fine, the layout if this hotel is very strange you have to walk up 2 flights of stairs to find the check in desk. Breakfast was good- better than other Hampton Inns we have stayed at. The room was great had 2 King bead and 2 bathrooms.

Only suggestion is a fan is needed in the fitness center. Very hot and stuffy.
