NOT a two bedroom
We booked this for my daughter's soccer tournament. We intentionally booked it because it was listed as a two bedroom and we wanted her to sleep in a bed and not on a sleeper sofa. When we arrived the second "bedroom" was really a den that could be separated from the kitchen/living room by an accordion wall. And it had a sleeper sofa. NOT a bed. Additionally the master only had a double bed instead of the king advertised. The condo was in pristine condition and was otherwise very nice but we were VERY frustrated by the bed situation. The Retreatia people at the desk told us that it was advertised correctly at their website and that was what happens when you book at a discount site. Frustrating.

Steamboat Getaway
We booked a condo in Steamboat because we like having a kitchen. We asked for a top floor but got a middle level. The room was clean but the building was old. We heard every noise from the people above who on each night came back at midnight and got up at 5 or 6. They slammed doors and drawers making it impossible to sleep. The pillows were old, small, and uncomfortable. We left after two nights although we paid for three. As for Retreatia, we were extremely disappointed. We paid through Hotels.com but got a threatening email from Retreatia claiming they had not received payment and were going to charge my charge for the full amount. It took several calls to correct. We then also had to pay some unknown $29 fee. Upon check in I was handed a multi-page contract that they claimed they sent me in advance. I never received it and they seemed annoyed when I wanted to read the document before signing. The paperwork had many threats about how I was going to be charge for mistakes. For example, if I left any item in the room, I would be charged $17 plus shipping. It was not a pleasant welcome by any means. When we arrived at the condo, we had to walk the length of the building and down three flights of stairs to find the room. This would have been fine if it were secluded but it was not. Finally, we were given an envelope to tip the maid, no maid came during our two days, and the concierge, again none to be found. Why put those envelopes in the package?

good price, terrible management company
we booked two rooms, management calls me and says they are sold out and they have to put me and my associate in a two bedroom room instead of two separate ones. We agree. I arrive at 245pm and call to see if the room was ready earlier than the 4pm check in time. Im told the room will not be ready until 4pm so it can be cleaned. We check into the 2 bedroom condo, and the room has not been cleaned. It smells of rotten food and trash, the beds had been slept in and not cleaned, the main bathroom had toothpaste spit around the sink and short and curly hair in the sink as well. All the towels were dirty. The second bathroom did not have an overhead light, the towels were dirty and there was a condom in the trash can. The 2nd bedroom light was burned out as well. We called and they sent a cleaning crew over to clean while we waited, they did not take care of the rotten food smell which I later discovered was the garbage disposal, that I had to clean myself. After all of that, the management calls my associate and says he needs to check into his room, the one they said they didnt have. My associate called and said he did not need it as we were already settled in to the two bedroom, they refused to give him a refund even though they made a mistake saying they were sold out and then realizing they were not. So he was charged $450 for a room he did not stay in, they claimed it was a non-refundable room, even though they told us it was not available. Stay away from Retreatia!
