A sauna and jacuzzi in your room!!! Wow, great tripPosted Mar 31, 2010
Wow...what a great trip! Definitely more than I expected for the price. The accommodations were a little bit outdated but there was so much room - and are you kidding me????A full sauna and jacuzzi inside our townhouse...just for us! That alone was worth it all! Definitely would stay there again. Don't agree with needing no car...unless you like to wait in the cold and stop at every stop. Car was VERY helpful. Was shocked at prices though for economy cars but if you do your homework and work extra hard - you can get it for half price. Be careful at the amount of restaurants... so many Mexican and the store fronts were not that good. Go off the beaten trail to find the good ones. Helpful to find some kind of rating site for local restaurants. I finally did the last 2 days and found great ones that I would not have know about. Also, worth taking the gondola on a non-ski day to lunch at the top. You buy the ticket but then they deduct it from the price of the meal. The evening country hoedown buffet was well worth it on the gondola. Fun time for the kids and incredible buffet. The couple restaurants at the base are not that good. Fantastic trip! Steamboat is now my choice.

Wonderful place to stay in SteamboatPosted Apr 1, 2009
This three bedroom townhome was in excellent condition and provided us a wonderful stay. The private hot tub and sauna in the unit was great to relax in at the end of the ski day. Steamboat Resorts provided excellent service. Their shuttle service to and from the base area was always prompt and courteous. The base was only a 2 minute drive away. It was extremely clean and had all the comforts of home.

Comfortable AccommodationsPosted Mar 13, 2007
The townhome was just as described on the website. I would rate the accommodations four stars out of five. The townhome furnishings were acceptable - - roustic decor. The kitchen contained all necessary cookware and utensils. Everything was in good working condition to include the jacuzzi and saunna. The reason for not being five stars is the daily cleaning or tidying up was cursory at best.
