Good Choice for Budget Hotel
Posted Jan 17, 2013
Pros: price
Cons: I suppose the decor could be updated
This motel was nothing special, but the price cannot be beat. The room was plenty clean and the motel is within walking distance of town. The motel staff were very nice as well.

Pros: Very clean.
Cons: Not great views.
I was surprised to find a small refrigerator in the room. Very convenient to main area of the city.

Basic hotel no frills.

The hotel address is listed as 1122 south lincoln with expedia. The real address is 1122 north lincoln which is about a mile away. I had to go to the visitor center to get help to find it. The staff at the hotel was very friendly.

cheap but good

The hotel managers are very friendly and funny (at least in my opinion... The guy in front of me at the desk wasn't laughing at his jokes). The rooms are cheap but have everything you need. When looking for affordable hotels in Steamboat, I'll always start here.

Good hotel if you don't have high standards
Posted Jan 5, 2012
Pros: location; easy access
Cons: a lot of cedar
Location: on main street of old town Steamboat Springs
The coffeepot was replaced because it would not work. The room was cleaned once in three days. The manager was nice.

Never again!!

Cons: The service!
Location: Love steamboat!!!!
This hotel was terrible. We had a reservation for one night and ended up having something come up. We tried to cancel a few hours after the 48 hour cancellation policy and they wouldn't budge. The guy at the front desk was very rude!! We had friends stay there and they stated it was dirty and old. I would never reserve a room here again!! We asked if he could give our room to someone for free since we were paying for it and not there. He stated that in reality he wouldn't do that, since they would most likely be willing to pay. All in all, not a good experience!

Cons: Musty smell, a little depressing.
Location: Right at the end of the main street.
Rooms are a little musty and depressing, but a bargain.
