Pros: The staff was pleasant.
Cons: Fix the seal on the bottom of the door leading outside. Large gap noted.
Location: Next to a truck stop. Pretty noisy.
Was not the most cozy place, but I guess I had a place to sleep. Very small breakfast selection.

A Little Remote

The rooms were fine, didn't have wi-fi or at least it wasn't mentioned, and we couldn't seem to get on. Amenities were not present. Soda's were not cold, no snacks at all. It is next door to a truck stop which provided everything we needed, and a little, not much, more noise than we wanted.

Pros: The Manager was very motivated and wouldn't hesitate to make things right. Location very close to my relatives.
Cons: Air Conditioning not cold enough and seems to shut down when you're asleep. The water drains very very slowly when showering.
Location: Location very close to my annual Family Reunion. I grew up in the area so I'm familiar with the surroundings.
I'm a repeat customer that had low expectations going in. I can honestly say that my experience was better than my last visit. The shower still drainded very very slowly leaving you standing in a puddle of water. My daughter found a dirty q-tip on her bed. I went to the Manager daily to get towels and wash cloths for three people because the staff would leave enough for only two. The air conditioning worked during the day and seemed to shut down during the hours of darkness. Again my stay was an improvement from last year and I would stay again, it's a work in progress but you can't beat the location for me.

Deerfield Inn & Suites

While this hotel might be good for a one night stay it is not a good place to spend several days. It is located right next to a gas station that is frequented by 18 wheelers at all hours of the night. Also there are no real restaurants near by.

We sincerely apologize that your stay with us wasn't as perfect as you'd like. Although there is a truckstop next door, we've found most guests aren't bothered by it. Within a 2 mile radius, there are several restaurants. The truckstop has a Subway as well as Chester's Chicken. Steele Family restaurant is located in the heart of town and within 400 yards is the Boss Hog, featuring an American menu as well as authentic Mexican cuisine. There is also YumYum's drive in. Another restaurant, called Our Place, features old fashioned home cooking.

The check clerk was the nicest person. The only problem we seen was the tv. the remote wouldnt work. & the buttons on the tv wouldn't work right. everything else was great.

THE FLOOR WOULD BE BETTER!!!!

I booked this hotel because they stated that they had tempur pedic mattresses and signature bedding and that was a complete LIE!!!! The bed was so hard that I would have slept better on the floor. The bedding had holes in it. And the door would not open the whole way. It was a motel I will not stay in again. After a really bad night sleep we went to have breakfast and even the milk was bad. I was not happy at all.
