Room was nice and everything was as expected.Posted Sep 3, 2013
The room was as expected. Clean for the most part. Ac worked, that was a very nice feature considering higher priced hotels in the area were experiencing ac failures on that 100+ degree weekend.

DisappointedPosted Aug 27, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel grounds were not kept up, the carpet in the room looked dirty. It looked like it could use updating, too. I wouldn't stay there again.

Sterling Super 8Posted Aug 22, 2013
Location: Sterling Rural Community.
This is a run down property, the stairs gave as you walk up to second floor, there are holes in the second floor under the carpet you will trip on as we did! The carpet in the room was coming up, Hotel was very Musty smelling, Door did not shut right to Hallway, will never stay again, nor do we recommend anyone else to stay!

Middle of nowherePosted Aug 19, 2013
Pros: Continental breakfast and the rooms were actually clean.
Cons: The front desk and hallways all need updated and cleaned.
Location: Correctional facility near by and not really anything to do your in the middle of nowhere
Our experience at the hotel was fine. One thing that wasn't the most comforting was that there was a correctional facility within walking distance of the hotel.

Bad in SterlingPosted Aug 15, 2013
Pros: checking out and going home
Arrived at motel on Friday evening, Checked in at about 10:00 pm. There was no lighting on outside of the motel,NONE...Motel hallways were very dirty and looked unkempt. The same trash was in the hallway when we checked out on Sunday morning. This may be the worst Super 8 motel in the United States.

around other hotelsPosted Aug 13, 2013 on Hotels.com
it was 1030pm when we arrived, we waited in line for 20 mins. before being helped and there was just 1 person ahead of us. it wasn't well lit up outside around the building, had no elevator not very excessive for handicapp people, my daughter cant hardly walk and the stairs were really hard for her. asked for 1st floor and was told didn't have none!!! Very dissatisfied, and disappointed, Toliet leaked so bad we had to use all ours towels just so we could walk in there to use the bathroom!!

Didn't care for french-fries on the hotel floor for the entire stay. Should look around more often and clean when found dirty.

a one nighterPosted Jul 31, 2013 on Hotels.com
Check in was fast and the clerk very friendly. Our room was quite large with a king bed and a sofa and occasional chairs. The sink was separate from the shower and toilet making it easy for two people to get ready. A nice surprise was the breakfast room. It was staffed with two people who made the warm foods and helped everyone get their food. The breakfast area was spotless. The location is a bit isolated but otherwise, it was easy to get back to the interstate.

Hotel is dated, but adequate. My room was clean.
