Clean, cool, and quietPosted Aug 18, 2013
Cons: broken hot tub
Location: close to the family reunion we were attending
Checked in late on Tuesday which was no problem. Kids got to play on waterslide. Pool was cool, but the slide didn't seem to have enough water pressure, so it was ok for the kids but when one of us went with them, we got "burned" by the dry edges of the slide. Hot tub was out of order during our visit with no real explanation. Hotel was clean, cool, and quiet. Didn't really make use of the "grab and go" breakfast. Overall, the stay was satisfactory.

Stettler Canalta HotelPosted Aug 13, 2013
Pros: The peaceful view from our room out onto the playground - very nice.
Cons: The cold water/air in the swimming pool
Location: The location was great: even though it was on the "Main Drag", it was very quiet. And close to everything we wanted to find.
I selected this hotel because of the pool & slide: I was travelling with my 11-year old grandaughter. So many things were great about the hotel: the included breakfast, the free popcorn, the spaciousness of our room, the peace & quiet at night, the ready availability of dispensing machines for beverages, snacks & ice, the good condition of the parking lot, the pleasant staff, the generous quantity of towels, the comfort of the beds & pillow, the big screen tv with lots of channels and good reception, the proximity to restaurants, and our primary reason for being in Stettler: The Prairie Excursion Railway. The only Bad Thing that I have to report is that the hot tub was "broken" - not operational. The temperature of the water in the swimming/slide pool was too cool for my taste, and the ventilation made that cooling situation more extreme. The children didn't seem to mind, but I would have been happier to sit in a warm "Hot Tub" while she swam and slid to her heart's content. Otherwise, our stay was very pleasant, and I would recommend this hotel to friends & family.

Good couple night stayPosted May 4, 2013
Pros: Free cookies! Hello!
Cons: Lipstick on a pig but it looks good for now!
Location: Noisy Friday night
Bed was comfortable with good pillows, nice tv, shower was hot and a large fridge in the room was nice. Good place to crash for a couple nights. Not high end but does the job.
