No kitchen, no food.

Posted Jul 15, 2015
Pros: Good facilities.
Cons: Pool could be a little bigger. The kitchen was closed because the cook was sick but it seemed like they should have had a backup plan.
Location: Stillwater on the 4th of July is not about entertainment. More about family.
Overall a nice hotel because it's still new. However, the kitchen was shut down and there aren't many food options that aren't fast food.

Price

Posted Jul 7, 2015
Was very upset to find the price of our room was $30 less per night than what we paid through Expedia. I was told I could not change it and that was awful. The hotel was empty the last evening of our stay and I should have been able to change and get the better price. Very disappointed.

daughter finished school

Posted May 25, 2015
Pros: Close to my daughters' apartment and was a Holliday inn
Location: Did not experience much as we were on a mission to pack her up and bring her home
Was very pleased with your hotel! Did have to kill a black spider on the wall but everything was clean and in working order and we were not in cramped quarters

Stay in Stillwater

Posted May 24, 2015
The staff was nice but I didn't feel like the room was as clean as it could have been. We had to ask for towels the second day and our beds had not been made. The room across the hall had dishes outside the door for two days.

Overpriced and poor value

Posted Apr 21, 2015
At $150/night this is one of the highest priced Holiday Inns I've stayed at. It was also one of the few HIs where breakfast was not included. On one of the nights we had no water. My wife and I had been at a racetrack all day and would have liked to have had a shower. The sink barely drained. The sheets were soiled. The Wifi took forever to do anything. And on one of our three nights they didn't make up our room. We had a great weekend at the track but the low point was the hotel. Never again.

Hotel in good condition

Posted Apr 20, 2015
Most things were fine. The hotel was mostly clean and wasn't dated-looking. The hotel staff was helpful. The only problems we had were: 1. The water was turned off for a few hours to fix a broken pipe. 2. The internet did not work quite right. Near the end of the visit, the internet was working again. 3. I found a long hair under my pillow.

Great overall experience . nice staff and clean hotel. The hotel is in a pretty good location as well from campus. The check out time is noon, so makes it a little easier.

Nice hotel for business travel.

Posted Mar 12, 2015
Pros: Clean rooms. Friendly staff.
Location: Right off the main road (6th avenue). Easy proximity to campus, downtown, Eskimo Joe's, etc.
I stayed two nights here while on business. The rooms were clean and the hotel employees were helpful. There is a restaurant/bar here so it is convenient for a business traveler. I did however have two minor concerns. The first day I stayed there the hot water didn't work. I was on the 4th floor so I thought it may just be a situation where the water needed some time to warm up but that wasn't the case. After leaving the water on for a few minutes I just sucked it up and showered with lukewarm water. I informed the desk and they were aware and a maintenance man was working on it. It was fixed by the second day. The first night I filled out the room service card for a breakfast to be delivered the next day at a certain time and hung it on my door. After waiting the next morning well past my delivery time, I checked the door and it was still hanging there. The front desk apologized and comped my breakfast at the restaurant. Unfortunately since I was behind I was rushed and my day didn't start out on a great foot.
