Great location in StirlingPosted Dec 29, 2014
Stirling Highland Hotel is in an old school and with its position just down from castle is hard to beat for location. It has a traditional Scottish feel and does get a number of groups, so won't suit everybody however. We found the staff very friendly, the room comfortable (but overly warm) and the breakfast was good. On our last day there were too many people at breakfast for the number of tables, so this does need to be addressed as those in the queue were not happy.

Good hotel in good location.Posted Nov 24, 2014
Hotel with loads of character in a good central position for shops and restaurants. Friendly staff who were cheery and helpful. Only moan was that breakfast hot plate and food was not hot and very depleted at 10am although serving 8 to 11am. Would return but take room only for this reason.

Nice hotel. Fairly priced. Didn't use the leisure facilities but if they were free, excellent value

Friendly staff and very helpful. There should be a greater choice of vegetarian food. Bathroom could be cleaner.

Cons: Cleanliness of the bathroom!
Enjoyed having the swimming pool, which was almost empty each time I used it. The room was comfortable, although the cleanliness of the bathroom left much to be desired, with the former occupants' hairs even being left in the bath and around the tiles. We mentioned this at reception but the bathroom still did not get a proper clean. The Stirling Highland Hotel let themselves down badly, as this is now what I remember most. Had a great day out at the castle and Bannockburn was worth the visit too.

Great locationPosted Oct 29, 2014 on Hotels.com
Had an overnight here on Sunday 26th Oct. Room was clean and spacious. Had dinner in Scholars restaurant, food was superb and well presented. Breakfast was mediocre, had to wait a bit for eggs to be cooked, bacon was lukewarm, on a plus side olive bread was delicious x

Bra service. Perfekt lägePosted Oct 29, 2014 on Hotels.com
Vi trivdes jättebra. Hotel var inte helt mocern men mycket scharmig och traditionel. SPA var underbar och fruckost toppen. Läget var perfekt för oss som var intresserade om slottet.

Presque parfaitPosted Oct 23, 2014 on Hotels.com
Wifi annoncé dans toutes les chambres... non ! ou alors être immédiatement au dessus de la réception. Pour le reste, tout est parfait, dans un style cossu et contemporain.
