Would have hated to stay in basement with no windows. This where our booking was for but was not indicated in the advert. Were up graded free of charge when we complained. Otherwise our stay was good

Right in the centre of StockholmPosted Nov 13, 2013
Pros: A great breakfast and 1/2 board. In the town centre. Close to tourist attractions.
Cons: Control the heat in the bedrooms.
Location: In the centre of town. Close to many attractions
A great location in the centre of town. Within walking distance to most attractions. Public transport near by. The staff are friendly and helpful. The 1/2 board is a wonderful idea. Its a light meal supplied each night and they change the menu each night. Free wi-fi is supplied ,but its a little bit un realiable. The rooms were overlooking the court yard so was noisy at times. Room were very hot and no a/c so we had to open the windows to the court yard. Breakfast is supplied ,with hot and cold options available. Theres an old time elevator that still works . We would consider staying at this motel again.

Comfortable hotel in ideal locationPosted Nov 3, 2013
Pros: The staff all speak English and were very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Evening buffet
Location: Drottninggartan is pedestrianised and is very lively. Short walk to public transport. Lots of coffee shops and other eateries near hotel.
I shared a twin room with my teenage granddaughter. The room was spotlessly clean but very small. It was fine for us because we were out and about all day. The bathroom was very modern. A fully tiled wet room actually. The breakfast which, as with the complimentary evening meal is served in the inner courtyard, was adequate. Delicious creamy scrambled egg. The evening buffet was a bit disappointing but we just used it as a starter and then went out for a main course. There are a number of restaurants near the hotel. This worked out quite well because dining out is very expensive in Stockholm.

A hotel with characterPosted Oct 30, 2013
Pros: Very helpful staff. Great location.
Cons: Air conditioning
Location: Slap bang in the middle of Stockholm.Plenty to see and do.
First appearance the hotel had a modest entrance but opened up into a reception area of splender. Very helpful friendly staff on reception. Lovely breakfast, evening buffet simple, tasty and filling. Our room was adequate size and exceptionally clean and well furnished. At times it did feel a little warm and would have benefited from air conditioning.

Wonderful experiencePosted Oct 22, 2013
Location: Central Stockholm - 15 minute walk to Gamla Stan and 10 minutes to the University.
We stayed three nights in this very comfortable hotel right on the main pedestrian shopping street in Stockholm. The location was very central and a 10 minute walk to the Arlanda Express Train. The desk staff was extremely helpful and cheerful. The complementary breakfast and evening buffets were very good. The supper saved us a lot of money by eating in. This was one of the least expensive hotels in the heart of Stockholm, especially when you figure in the two provided meals. The room was very comfortable and modern. Our room was right next to the street and we noticed no outside noise.

Cute hotelPosted Sep 24, 2013
Gorgeous hotel, very close to the shops and tube. Helpful staff. Only downside is there could have been tea and coffee facilities in the room other than that perfect. I love Stockholm!!!

Centrally located clean hotelPosted Sep 18, 2013
In its day, this was likely a ***** hotel. It has become a little tired, but is immaculately clean and well-located, near central train station, restaurants, and business center. Another strength is that they serve breakfast and a light dinner each day to all guests in a courtyard dining area to all hotel guests. The combination of location, cleanliness, courteous staff, and comfortable bed and bathroom make this a desirable hotel.

Great value for moneyPosted Sep 17, 2013
Pros: Very good buffet breakfast - even better buffet dinner - both complimentary! The room was big by Nordic standards.
Cons: The single bed is almost as narrow as a stretcher. The bath mat was not replaced after I had used it. There was no soap dispenser at the sink - only i
I stayed 2 nights and was quite comfortable and satisfied. I should have asked for a room not overlooking the internal courtyard as it is noisy till late - but it was not too bad.

Rooms are too smallPosted Sep 9, 2013 on Hotels.com
An okay experience. Friendly and helpful staff, but rooms that face the interior of the courtyard are simply too small for extended stay and somewhat noisy.
