Another good stay, spacious and very cleanPosted Dec 14, 2013 on Hotels.com
Was great to come back having not been here for a while, felt like an old friend. This time I had a huge 1 bed apt but with a courtyard view. It is lovely although the change to the breakfast location is in my opinion not a positive one so would put me off next time as you have to schlep miles now and use another lift vs before it was just round from reception. If you are looking for a quick breakfast before you leave in the morning - this is not good. The other minus is that the rooms are far too warm and the controls do little to help make cooler, only warmer! I had to open 6 windows to make it normal - the electric bills must be huge - so do yourselves a favour and turn down the thermostat, we don't need to walk around in t shirts! The staff were lovely and the South African chap ion reception was particularly helpful. Spotless accommodation as ever and comfy.

Good choice for quiet and the pricePosted Dec 2, 2013 on Hotels.com
I really liked the room. It's not easy to drive to and if you have more than one bag of luggage, getting to carry all that from the Airport to T-Bahn to bus to hotel is an ordeal. But I was pleasantly surprised by the room and was quite happy and comfortable. Two buses come by. The 76 takes you to Djurgarden stop where you can walk across the bridge to Skansen, goes to Gamlastan, Sodermalm, etc and easy to pick back up to go back. 1/2 block from hotel. #72 gets you from the T-bahn station to the hotel across the street from the sidestreet that takes you there! Ballbreakers, arcade, restaurant, and bowling alley is also a bonus.

Great valuePosted Nov 25, 2013 on Hotels.com
Overall this was a nice place with great value and service. The beautiful rooms are very well taken care of and immaculate upon arrival. It's true you need a bus ride from Central station to get there, but to me such aspects are small and worth saving money in otherwise expensive stockholm. Recommended!

Hidden secret in FrihamnenPosted Nov 12, 2013 on Hotels.com
Booked Biz App for a 1 night stay on business. Was completely surprised about the quality of the rooms considering the low rate paid. God bed, fully equipped kitchen, nice chairs, clean bathroom and a cosy atmosphere. Was late on arrival but had no problems at all. Nice breakfast too. The location is not central but it worked for me doing business in Frihamnen.

Amazing buffet breakfastPosted Oct 18, 2013
Location was the only downside - 20 minute walk from the main areas of Stockholm. Also, they don't clean your room or replace sheets/towels for short stays (under a week). But the breakfast buffet was unbelievably good, and the hotel was very clean and comfortable.

Nice hotelPosted Sep 6, 2013
Pros: Friendly staff, good breakfast.
Cons: A bit pricey, but the rooms are very nice. Rooms will only be serviced once or twice a week. It was not a problem for us.
Location: A bit far from the city center. Some restaurants close by for dinner.
Very nice, clean and roomy. Only downfall is that it´s far from the city center (had to take the subway AND a bus to get there). That said, the bus drops you off very close to the hotel. Staff very friendly, breakfast was great. Room was very clean and spacious. A few restaurants close by for dinner.

Excellent hotel with a great breakfastPosted Aug 29, 2013 on Hotels.com
This hotel far exceeded my expectations - our room was very spacious and had everything we needed and more. The breakfast smorgasbord was excellent as well. Though the hotel is a little ways from the main portions of Stockholm they are very near to city rental bike stands and we made use of the three-day passes available meaning we were only a 10-minute bike ride from downtown. It was perfect. We certainly will stay here again.

Far away from the city !!Posted Aug 27, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel is more for people who have transportation to travel into the city and not ideal for tourists. It costs around 150 SKR to go from Birger Jarlsgatan to this place by Taxi. Room service is not available and the towels and sheets are replaced only once a week. Staff very helpful though, but they have no tie ups with tour guides or activities that they can recommend. Overall, not worth the 280 GBP paid for 2 nights.

Great hotel!Posted Aug 27, 2013 on Hotels.com
Great hotel. I like the fact that you have a small kitchen in your room. The hotel breakfast is great. The nearby park is wonderful. Easy to take a bus to downtown (or you can walk 30 min.)
