“a quiet, well-appointed, well-located place to stay”
This hotel is lovely. The staff is very helpful yet unobtrusive. Rooms are small but always comfortable and well kept. The bar is terrific and I found internet access very easy. Breakfast is also good. The location is superb. Quiet residential area with many ethnic restaurants and good coffee shops. Very close to the t-bana and within walking distance of major shopping areas if that matters. I've stayed many places in Stockholm, including in Gamla Stan, and I find this much preferable. It's much quieter yet you can be in Gamla Stan or Sodermalm in 10 minutes via the T. A terrific place to stay.

I have stayed at Hotel Helsten a number of times. Always a pleasure. The staff is positive, helpful and brim with "positive" energy. The price for the stay is a steal.
“Great hotel in the heart of Stockholm”
Experienced the great staff service and excellent location of the hotel for 4 nights as a tourist. The hotel has an impressive interior with Africa themed decoration in the lobby and bar areas. The room looked quite modern (despite minor repair point). The whole feeling of the stay was being in the very welcome, modern and quality family-like environment with great attitude to the guests (including the business ones apparently). Thank you! I do recommend the hotel and Stockholm city!

“Sehr beeindruckt”
Tolles Hotel in guter Lage. Beim nächsten Besuch würde ich gern ein Zimmer in einer höheren Kategorie bevorzugen. Das gebuchte Zimmer ist zwar ok, dennoch würde ich eines mit mehr Ausstrahlung gern "testen".
“Great Stockholm Experience”
Public transportation is easy to use, and everything converges at T-Centralen, but keep in mind that Stockholm is a walking city with great neighborhoods to explore like Gamla Stan and Sodermalm. Don't miss the marketplace at Hotorget, and have a tasty, reasonably priced lunch there.

I travel a lot on business and wish there were a hotel like this in every city! Excellent breakfast layout - great eclectic decor and really wonderful staff. Location is perfect. A hotel with personality and comfort. I loved it and would come back.
“Ein besonderes Hotel in schöner Lage”
Die Lage des Hotels in einer ruhigen Seitenstrasse ist sehr gut. Das attraktive Stockholm, Shops, Restaurants, Cafes, historische Bauwerke, ist gut zu Fuss zu erreichen . Von der Centralstation empfielt sich die U- Bahn. Das Hotel ist reduziert designt d.h. Junge schlanke schwarz gekleidete Menschen in reduziert möblierten Zimmern. Die Bäder sind winzig, aber es reicht. Wer Plüsch und Protz sucht ist hier falsch. Das Frühstück ist gut und umfangreich, das Frühtsückszimmer eher klein.Im Sommer gibt es aber noch einen Innenhof. P.s Das Mineralwasser im Zimmer geht aufs Haus.
“Fabulous”
This is a great place to stay, and it's comparatively inexpensive on the overall Stockholm scale. One important note: The hotel is located within walking distance of all the attractions, but it is also about 1 min walk from the subway station Radmansgattan, which is only two stations away from the Central Station on green line, so if you are like me, and get to Stockholm in the dark, it is really easy to just take the tube. After you get out, walk the street to your left away from the station and take the first turn left.
