Fabulous, friendly and unexpectedPosted Sep 28, 2013
A tiny hotel on a single floor in a residential area we were a little nervous when we rang the buzzer to be let in. There was no need to worry, the reception was exceptional with friendly, caring staff who engaged with all the guests. The facilities are basic but adequate with some rooms using shared bathrooms, the rooms were comfortable and great value. The dining room is open all day and night for guests to self serve with snacks and tea and coffee. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel for visitors who just want somewhere comfortable and welcoming to stay and aren't too bothered about gyms, swimming pools and dining in.

lovely hotel would recommendPosted Aug 26, 2013
Pros: just about everything
Cons: to change the cakes on offer every day or so
Location: 10 mins walk from the main town
was just a 10 min walk from the hustle and bustle of the town although located on a main rd there was hardly any noise during the night so you got a good nights sleep.could not fault the cleaning of the hotel the cleaners are a credit to the hotel and need a pat on the back for that. clara was by far the best of the staff she went over and above her duty to help in any way she could she was also very cheerful at all times ( there was a guy there one day over the weekend that was very abrupt and sullen also on the sunday an other girl was there that could do with a few tips from clara and her team).if i was ever to visit stockholme again i would 100% book here.and would recommend to others too.

Lovely hotel, fantastic staff and good breakfast buffet. In nice area not far from old town and SoFo. Bathroom was right across from our room so was handy and it was always clean. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. We have no problem recommending this hotel.

Lovely helpful staff, great locationPosted Jan 7, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel was as attractive and clean as on the website pictures and very good value for the price. It is centrally located and in a cool district with lots of interesting little boutiques and little galleries. In the hotel, the staff are all very helpful and friendly with perfect English and French ....there is free coffee available all day and a good breakfast.
Close to restaurants and walking to old townPosted Jan 2, 2013 on Hotels.com
Very friendly staff and helpful about tourist information. Very handy dining area available 24hr with microwave, fridge, crockery, cutlery etc for eating in. Free biscuits, cake, drinks etc provided. A 7-11 food store just down the road for supplies and alcohol shop also nearby. Definitely will book again. Triple room clean and spacious, great with our 9 year old boy. We walked everywhere no problem.

NOT A TWO STAR HOTEL: SOME THINGS MISSING!Posted Oct 13, 2012 on Hotels.com
STAFF VERY HELPFUL! BREAKFAST ADEQUATE,BUT NO HERRING (SILD)? NO REAL BUTTER. GOOD TEA. OK, NOW FOR THE PROBLEMS. 'SHARED BATHROOM' DIDN'T KNOW THIS MEANT TRIP DOWN THE HALL--BETTER HAVE A ROBE, CLEAN BATHROOMS. BUT WAIT. NO PHONE IN OUR ROOM = NO WAKE-UP CALL. NO COFFEEMAKER, EITHER. TWO STAR? NICELY PROVIDED BABY BED IN EXCELLENT CONDITION AND CLEAN. BUT WAIT--NO AREA GUIDEBOOK, NO LIST OF TV CHANNELS, NO TV AFTER IT GOT LATE--SCREEN WENT BLANK-- TINY ELEVATOR CAN HOLD ONLY ONE PERSON,. STAIRS GO UP AND UP: A HARD CLIMB. NICE, FRESH PAINT, RED CARPETS, HEAT CAME ON...BUT WAIT--NO AIR CONDITIONING (NOT THAT STOCKHOLM NEEDS IT MUCH!)..NO MINI-FRIDGES OR MICROWAVES --THERE IS FREE WI-FI. ONLY ONE FLOOR IS DEVOTED TO THIS SOMEWHAT CHARMING HOTEL, AND YOU MUST DECIPHER CALL PHONE HOW TO GET STAFF TO LET YOU IN WHEN YOU FIRST ARRIVE. CONVENIENTLY LOCATED. NO GUIDEBOOKS OR LOCAL INFO IN ROOM-- YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR, MINUS SOME AMAZING INCONVENIENCES WITHIN, IN ORDER TO LOCATE YOURSELF IN AN ARTSY DISTRICT W/ NEARBY GRAND VIEWS OF HARBOR, W/ PARKS, GOOD SHOPS AND RESTAURANTS CLOSE BY. ONLY A SHORT CAB RIDE FROM CENTRAL STATION,. BUT I'D NOT GO THERE AGAIN UNLESS THEY WOULD HAVE A ROOM PHONE, COFFEEMAKER, AND JUST A LITTLE MORE COMFORT ALL THE WAY AROUND (WAS QUIET, THOUGH!)..STAFF BENT OVER BACKWARD TO PLEASE..
