We had to stay for 5 days and the room was spotlessly clean the service was second to none the value was the best anywhere breakfast was very good and included at no extra cost and the showers and toilets were shared but always clean to a high standard. The hotel is in a fantastic location with easy access to underground stations bus routes and commuter train to the airport is just 8 minutes away and loads cheaper than the Arlanda express train. Highly recommend the Hornsgatan hotel

Lovely unique hotel in great area
We absolutely loved this hotel (a two day stay) and would have stayed two more days except they were booked up. The room was charming and the three of us were very comfortable in the Quadruple room with private bath. Breakfast was very nice (loved the fresh bread). They graciously stored our luggage for a few hours after we checked out. We definitely would stay there again if we ever return to Stockholm. Highly recommended.

A little hard to find because it didn't have a huge sign, but it was close to everything. The staff were always nice to us. The breakfast bar was fine too- eggs, yogurt, breads, coffee, tea, fruit. We would stay here again.

Family run hotel not a chain 👍I enjoyed my stay. I arrived at 11pm , there was good communication from the hotel. My keys and instructions were at the reception. My room was clean and comfortable. I enjoyed the breakfast. Good options and plentyful. Great location.

This was a very nice place to stay. There were lots of shops and restaurants around and the transit was nearby. I would stay there again.

Hotel Hornsgatan is a true gem for any traveler to the Stockholm area. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful (they gave me terrific restaurant recommendations), the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the location is unparalleled. Excellent metro access and hidden away from the tourist traps. Highly recommended for getting a taste of real Stockholm life and culture.

Really glad I chose to stay here. Great location but it's not noisy at all. Convenient if you need to take the metro or get to places on foot. The staff were friendly and helpful. Spacious and clean room. Will definitely stay here again when I visit Stockholm again.

Great stay, lovely atmosphere.
I really enjoyed my stay here. The man at reception was so welcoming on my arrival and showed me places to visit in Stockholm. The atmosphere was friendly and hospitable - on arrival I was able to make a tea at the hotel front. The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable, and the TV worked well. The breakfast was great. I will choose Hotel Hornsgatan when I next need a place to stay in Stockholm.

I loved my stay here. Great location. I received a perfect orientation when I arrived. Breakfast was amazing. Great value and unique property. I felt very safe and comfortable. I honestly felt that the property owner and staff really care about the guests. I would definitely stay there again. There is some noise on the street side in the late evening due to a club being located there. But, I didn’t have any trouble sleeping. Just mentioning it for those who might need to know.

This hotel is vary basic with shared washing and toilet facilties. This may be a negative for some, but as a solo traveller it suited me well. All guests were respectful and thre facilities were spotless. Extremely personable and friendly staff. Excellent standard European breakfast

Great place
Great place in an interesting area in Stockholm. Very nice views of Stockholm nearby (uphill!). Easy to get to other areas from the nearby t-bana. Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was good and the hotel also had free coffee/tea fruit and snacks other times of the day which was very nice. Shared bathrooms were clean and worked great for me. The rooms were quiet - considering the busy city area.

This is a great place when you get tired of the franchise four stars that are so boringly predictable and expensive. It is right in the most interesting area of Stockholm, surrounded by foodie heavens to suit most budgets. It’s a conversion of one of the big apartments from the early last century and run by its owners. They make sure you get a helpful welcome and plenty of information on local events. Not all the rooms have en suite but each room is individual and charming in the way of family run continental hotels. Beds are comfortable, the bathroom and room was comfortable and the price was reasonable. Definitely worth a visit.
