Style and friendlinessPosted Jul 19, 2014
Pros: It was no trouble for all the staff to organise tours, recommend and book restaurants and
Location: Short walk to main island, around the corner from T-bahn metro. The area has plenty of interesting shops and restaurants.
This has to be the best hotel I've ever stayed at for friendliness, helpfulness and designed with class and style.

Perfect 21st-century boutique hotelPosted Jul 15, 2014
Pros: Particularly welcome: the attention to technology. The wi-fi is reliable and strong everywhere, and there are outlets all over.
This hotel is chic, well situated in Sodermalm (short walk to everything you want to see) and well run. Rooms are bright, clean and spacious, with comfy bed and big windows. The TV/stereo combo in each room is genius - never realized how nice a feature until I had it, and our room (one upgrade from standard) had the ability to play music in the bathroom. Add excellent breakfast, superlatively friendly staff, and you have a full package. Excellent experience all around!

Great hotel with ideal locationPosted Jul 14, 2014
Pros: Friendly staff, great rooms, nice restaurant/cafe, good hotel bar, offer entertainment on some nights, good location
Cons: Fitness onsite (located next door)
Location: close to Metro, within walking distance of the Old Town and ferries to Djurgarden, park across the street, in great neighbourhood, local restaurants
this might be my new favorite hotel. Within walking distance of the old town, located across from a park, close to the Metro - you can't beat the location. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room spacious and clean and the breakfast was superb. If you're looking for a great boutique hotel that delivers value with lots of options both within and around the hotel then this is your place.

The hotel is located in an area with art galleries and small shops. We loved the restaurant--dinner was delicious and a lovely experience on the outdoor balcony.

Essence of Swedish CulturePosted Jul 2, 2014
Pros: Breakfast, cool ambiance.
Cons: Make sure the electronic components are working.
Location: Situated in cool Sodermalm, with lots of shopping and cafes nearby.
We loved the understated, yet vibrant decorating. It felt cool, yet welcoming. The staff was wonderful. They mailed our postcards for us and gave tips on what to do in the neighborhood in impeccable English. The location, just steps away from the Mariatorget Metro station, was quite convenient. We had no trouble negotiating our suitcases to the subway for a ride to the Arlanda Express train to the airport. Our room itself was small, but there was ample room under the bed to stow the suitcases. The bathroom shower had a handheld as well as a ceiling shower head. That was nice. The bed was comfy and the linens a soft and smooth high-density cotton. There was a Blueray player and extensive collection of movies available free of charge. A major huzzah for the breakfast! The buffet included cold meats and cheeses, smoked fish, artful displays of fresh fruit, myriad selection of breads, two types of yogurt with any topping you can think of, even pumpkins and flax seeds, capped by a lovely array of macaroons. In addition, you could order omelets, oatmeal, french toast and other hot items made to order. The best breakfast we had on our trip by far. Another wonderfully Swedish touch was the espresso machine available anytime providing top-notch coffees, accompanied by tea cookies. Our only minor problem was that the USB port wasn't working, so I couldn't charge my phone in the room. I would definitely recommend this hotel for travelers who want to experience Swedish culture.

Very cool hotel, in the cool part of townPosted Jul 2, 2014
Groovy boutique hotel. Hugely friendly and helpful staff, small but chic room, excellent breakfast and room service food, we got a firmer pillow delivered from the pillow menu! The whole place is very stylish and located in groovy Sodermalm, about 10-15 mins walk from Gamla Stan. It's expensive but worth treating yourself!
