Perfect hotel in fun neighborhoodPosted Sep 9, 2014
Pros: Welcoming and lively
Location: Trendy neighborhood, with good restaurants, and though not near the standard tourist attractions, near a good tube line
Would highly recommend this hotel. While not in the center near tourist attractions, very near a tube station and in a fun neighborhood. Staff uniformly lovely and helpful, rooms nice, and breakfast and room service fantastic.

Great boutique hotelPosted Sep 5, 2014
Not your traditional hotel (and that's a good thing). Everything was very well handled from checkin to recommendations for activities and restaurants and everything in between. Would definitely stay again.

Wonderful staffPosted Sep 5, 2014
The staff was super friendly and helpful. The location superb within walking distance of virtually all main attractions in Stockholm near fine dining and shopping. The breakfast that was included was five star.

Overpriced for what you getPosted Sep 3, 2014
Pros: Friendly and helpful concierge staff
Cons: Pricing and way to minimise noise levels from club close-by
Location: Sodermalm is quite a walk from the old town and the shopping precinct, but it has some good coffee bars, shops, and Soder Hjarta restaurant
Although not a bad hotel, we felt that it was overpriced, especially as it was a good walk away from where most of the action is. I traded up to a superior room, only to find not much difference to a standard room except a few extra DVD s and minor decor differences. We were put on the second floor with a terrible view of the back of the adjoining hotel and roof. On the second night a nearby club was pumping music until 2am which made sleep very difficult. When I called reception to find out what could be done I was offered ear-plugs! Surely if the hotel knows that raucous music is likely then the superior rooms should face the park on the other side of the hotel? Although there are a few trendy bars and shops in Sodermalm, we Should probably rather have stayed at the Grand Hotel or similar closer to the old town

short stayPosted Sep 1, 2014
Pros: The food in the hotel was of a high standard, we ate breakfast in the hotel each day and there was plenty of choice. the hotel was also clean and tidy
Cons: the rooms are very small, not sure how that can be improved but it was an issue, especially the bathroom which was tiny.
Location: the location of the hotel is very good, the metro is a short walk away. There are lots of museums with easy reach and a good selection of shops.
This is a very nice hotel in a good area, close to lots of museums etc. It is a short walk to Gamla Stan the oldest part of Stockholm. We found it easy to walk to Gamla Stan each day and from there we would get a ferry to one of the museums or walk over to the main part of Stockholm where there was a big shopping centre. There is a lot to see and do but as we only had 4 days we selected just a few museums to see. The only down side to the experience was the size of the room but as it was clean and comfortable we didn't let it spoil our visit. i did find the bathroom too small though, difficult to get dry when you come out of the shower. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. there were also tea and coffee making facilities on the 4th floor and a computer and printer.

Nearly faultless...Posted Aug 31, 2014
Cons: Think about adding Vegetarian options in the restaurant menu. Chefs are always telling us how creative they are, so why not get them to prove it?
Only one thing. We would have liked to eat in the restaurant but could not find anything Vegetarian. This was a shame in such a great place.

Great location for a few days in StockholmPosted Aug 26, 2014
Cons: Room was a little stuffy and airless until we got the staff to open the window which was locked - however it was fine after that.
Met our expectations having read a number of positive reports about it.

Wife's birthday celebrationPosted Aug 24, 2014
Pros: Good value. Great breakfasts. Excellent restaurant and bar. Stylish room. Really clean. Great staff. Good (non central) location. Really enjoyed it.
Cons: Thought I chose the most expensive option when booking on expedia so thought it was a top floor suite. Maybe I got it wrong or expedia weren't clear?
Location: Nice quiet location with trees in the front and back. Best hotel for bohemian part of town? Near to ferry terminals, Gamla Stan and tube system.
Four day stay in Stockholm to celebrate wife's birthday. Excellent. Not central but ideal boutique hotel in funky part of Stockholm. Personable, smart, stylish, friendly hotel.

unRivaledPosted Aug 21, 2014
Pros: staff and location. The ABBA connection was also fun...especially for my travelling companion who is a big fan.
Cons: Room was a bit warm but we were there during an unusual heat wave and the staff did provide a fan at no extra charge.
Most of all the helpfulness of staff stood out...except perhaps for a few rather distant bartenders in the bar. The restaurant was great (for breakfast) and the front desk staff went way out of their way to help arrange a few odd travel plans. Great location...close tot he Metro and walkable to downtown, but a quieter picturesque neighbourhood.

Great hotel great staff great locationPosted Aug 16, 2014
An excellently run hotel with a first class breakfast, great position and good value for money. We would definitely go back there. We arrived early and the reception staff checked to see if our room was ready. It wasn't but would be soon so we were offered a cup of tea or coffee while we waited. And all done with a genuine smile.
