Convenient & comfortable

Posted Aug 27, 2014
Pros: Free Wifi, good TV in the room.
Cons: A bigger duvet is required - it needs to be large enough to cover not just the bed but the people sleeping in it. Breakfast until 11am would be nice.
Location: Exceptionally convenient for the central station & shopping district, and several places to eat & drink.
Excellent location when travelling by air: get off the Arlanda Express train, walk out of the station door and the hotel is 20 metres away. There was some renovation work going on when we arrived, so the lobby was a little tricky to navigate and the water was turned off for 30 minutes one morning (there were signs giving advance notice of this), but our stay was otherwise unaffected by the work. Room was compact but perfectly OK, although the duvet was only the size of the mattress with no overlap so there wasn't really enough duvet to cover both of us in bed. The "about us" book in the room was a good read, and it was great to see a hotel with solid sustainability credentials.

Amazing location

Right next to the airport train and in the centre of town. It's a designer hotel with friendly staff. It was being renovated during our visit.

Pros: Nive, great location, staff
Cons: Nothing
Very nice hotel, however construction was and currently going on. Staff very apologetic and friendly. Philip (no last name) assisted me a gave me a complementary drink. The hotel was right outside the Arlanda express station.

Central hotel

Posted Aug 3, 2014
Friendly staff but no air conditioning and no list of prices for mini bar. Room not cleaned properly. Good breakfast and spacious room. It was unfortunate that building refurbishments were taking place, so we did not see hotel at its best. There was NO mention of building work on website when we booked hotel. This should have been stated to enable us to make an informed decision as to whether or not to book that actual hotel.

First time in Stockholm

Posted Jul 27, 2014
Pros: What's not to like about a clean room, comfy bed, great location, free wifi, free breakfast buffet (first time I've had free smoothies)?
Cons: Have a weather or temperature listing on the hotel information on the TV or a webcam view of outside for the sake of people in the windowless rooms
We arrived from the airport on the Arlanda Express knowing very little of Stockholm. It was great to get off the train and see a sign for the hotel, just steps away. The staff were very helpful and spoke excellent English. We had booked an inside room, knowing it would be small and windowless, but better for the budget. It was just adorable with its mural covered walls. It had everything, just in a very compact space. The bed was super comfy. Love having heated towel racks. Breakfast was awesome! Everything we wanted to see was within walking range for us, but even better, we discovered that Stockholm is a great city to bike in. We got city bike passes and were delighted to discover that there were two locations for these bikes very close to the hotel. Besides the tourist sights, there are great pedestrian shopping streets nearby and places to eat galore, plus most things can be found in the train station shopping area which stays open late. We loved the make your own salad bars in the grocery stores.

Supermodern hotel near the Central terminal

Posted Jul 15, 2014
Pros: Extremely convenient, very clean, polished, and bright. Staff does all the little things wothout even being asked.
Cons: We were not warned that construction was going on in much of the hotel, which was disconcerting. Also, the locally famous Ice Bar is in the hotel.
Location: The Central Terminal is next door, so getting anywhere in Stockholm or Sweden is easy. Rapid transit to airport just outside. Middle of everything.
Better than expected room, very modern and spacious, interesting architecture, minimalist decor. Super friendly and helpful staff.
