Location is the luxury

Posted Sep 13, 2014
The hotel had a very impressive lobby and plain, unimpressive sleeping rooms. The location is less than six blocks from the Palace, train station, boat tours, and fancy shopping. It is a block from the Tourist Information office, which is a very helpful service. Breakfast was more than adequate, but short on fish, if that is what you are going for. The hotel staff are vary accommodating. There is a minimal fitness room but no pool or sauna.

Convenient city spot

A regular hotel for business visits. A short walk from Central Station and the Arlanda Express, conveniently placed in the city.

Disappointing

Posted Jun 18, 2014
Pros: Location was the best thing.
Room was down a moldy smelling hallway on first floor. It had everything basic in a room, but the curtains were hanging off broken hooks and didn't close properly, as well as being too short for the window. Very bad when the city has 20 hours of daylight each day, very hard to sleep with no darkness for me. I have stayed here in the past and felt everything was better then. Internet was hard to get each evening until about midnight.

Nice location

Pros: Room size & location. Huge breakfast buffet.
Cons: Updates could be made to decor, facilities. Gym was incredibly small.
Location: Close to Old Town (10 minute walk), about 45 minute walk to Djugarden.
This hotel was in a great location. Close to train station & Old Town. The room size was great -very comfortable. Facilities were a bit outdated though. Great breakfast buffet. Great staff.

Good location, dated rooms!

Posted May 12, 2014
Pros: Location
Cons: Room decor
Great location, close to T-Centralen station. Staff were helpful and price was reasonable. The room was comfortable although the decor was very dated!

Large room (we had a twin room). Sofa, desk, big TV. Great location, right by the central station. Really nice stay. The best part was the AMAZING breakfast buffet (free!). Sandwiches, fruit, yogurt-- everything! And... SWEDISH PANCAKES YUMMMMMM!

City centre mid-range hotel

Posted Apr 24, 2014
Pros: The location
Cons: The décor of the rooms
Sergel Plaza is by no means a bad hotel and is very central but the rooms are old and need sprucing up. The staff can be a little surly and breakfast is always a very crowded affair.

Nice hotel

Nice hotel. Very central location. Rooms could do with a refurb and the décor does feel a bit dated, but generally ok. Nice breakfast too.
