Bring ear plugs

Posted Aug 13, 2014
Pros: Very central location, but beware that the popularity of the area with tourists makes the area infested with pick pockets.
The hotel is in a great, central location, walking distance to Djurgarden and adjacent to a metro stop. However there is construction being done nearby which echoes through the streets and alleys, and some of the hammering seems to start at 5 or 6am. If you leave your windows open, which in summer is necessary, bring ear plugs or else be prepared to sleep with pillows over your head.

Beautiful hotel in central location of the city

Posted Jul 31, 2014
Pros: The staff were amazing!
Cons: The only thing that could really use improvement was the lack of air circulation. We came in the summer, and it was so so hot in the room!
Location: There were several cafes and restaurants nearby. There was an amazing park nearby that had music, plays, or dancing every night we visited!
The staff at this hotel are amazing! So nice and helpful. The room was beautiful - even the bathroom was artistic. Our room overlooked the cafe downstairs; I thought this would be noisy, but all noise stopped around 10 pm. The best part was the bed - so comfortable!! We had a mini refrigerator and a safe in the room, though, not much space to put our luggage. The hotel is close to everything and so easy to get to! The only thing that needs improvement is the air - we visited in the summer. Even with a borrowed fan and the window open, we could barely sleep because we were so hot! Request a fan as soon as you check in if visiting in the summer and hope you get a decent one, otherwise, no sleep for you.

Wonderful Service

Posted Jul 17, 2014
Pros: The location, service and breakfast
Cons: Noise on the street, but they cannot do anything about this.
Location: Upscale shopping area in Ostermalm and steps to the tube station.
I loved the location and styling of this hotel! It was fantastic! The mini bar compliments and the breakfast were excellent. The only downside was the noise experienced during our stay that caused us to move rooms after the second night since my sensitive partner didn't get a good nights sleep. However, Jasper at the front desk was so understanding that he switched our rooms immediately and had our bags moved while we were out. I will definitely recommend staying at Story to anyone and can't wait to come back here myself! Thanks for the stay!

Cool, funky hotel

Posted Jul 16, 2014
Room was large - experienced an unsually hot 2 days in Sweden - no AC, as Expedia had billed hotel. However they did find us fans - a help. Room has frig, large open windows when temps went down....It could offer some additional places to hang clothing - only 6 un moveable hangers provided for a large room. Room was clean, every day - bath products replaced every day. .. Cool bar, with decent food, friendly staff - wonderful staff really - handled any of our "American" requests. Good location......bar tenders - helped with so many places to go.

Cool Boutique hotel in Stockholm

Posted Jul 7, 2014
This hotel was recommended by fussy Swedish friends and did not disappoint! Quirky design and rooms are small but very comfortable. We loved it! We were even warned by email that since we were staying during midsummer finding a restaurant could be difficult.

The Best

Posted Jun 20, 2014
One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. On arrival we thought this was a rather swanky place and maybe thought we were a bit out of place but I was very wrong when we went in we were welcomed really nice by lovely, friendly staff which set the ball rolling nicely for the holiday. The room was a good size, always cleaned and would always knock if didn't want it cleaned to make sure we had essentials like complimentary water and of course toilet roll and towels. The breakfast buffet which I believe is in included in their price (don't quote me on that) was great a wide range of foods from eggs, toast, breads, hams, salmon all sorts. Oh and really nice pastries and a great selection of beverages. Overall our stay was great and would definitely go back again.

Great position

Posted Jun 7, 2014
Pros: Lots
Cons: Front desk organisation and communication
Very well positioned hotel, interesting rooms free water every day ( nice touch). Food unexpectedly very good especially evening meal Standard of staff very variable. Asked why we hadn't packed then had to convince them we had paid for another 3 days two months ago and then no apology. Then they changed our room key number because on our second last day we had an unpaid laundry bill ?? Very strange billing and casual front desk (even though there isn't one) which must be a problem. Besides these things we loved the stay.
