Older facility still needs workPosted May 31, 2015
Cons: The allowed responses to this questionnaire are too brief.
Location: Stockton is a generic city w/typical mall sprawl and developer homes dating from the late '50s to today, with homes still being added to what was once
Entry foyer is pleasant, but no newspapers save generic national. Desk staff pleasant, but clearly told to "make conversation" by asking the "reason" for visit to city. Room map, city restaurant guide given, but no instruction re parking permit (put on dash of car). Lounge has great bartender; free munchies, and happy hour w/good prices. Key is mag. card needed for building entry/room entry - good security. Hallway carpets filthy. Room smelled of some disinfectant/deodorizer - phew. Room had refrig. and micro. TV was flat screen; had no on-screen program guide and only channel guide was HBO for month. Radio was broken: would not allow time/alarm set, station change or turn off. Dresser and work desk w/DSL lamp plug. Binder w/hotel data and city restaurant guide. WiFi in room also. Single queen bed (my choice) was too small - should have res. double queen or single king instead. Mattress/pillows quite comfortable. AC was in-wall and worked fine. Curtains effectively screened room and blocked light. Stuffed chair/ottoman supplied. V. nice watercolor prints on wall. Shower is an accident waiting to happen: 2" shower pan lip let water stream onto floor under shower curtain; shower head mounted on post facing curtain so water plays on curtain. Nice fold-down bench seat in shower. One horiz. grab bar. Towel rack mounted too close to toilet blocking straight "shot" for standees. Commode was pleasantly tall for ease in on/off. Lav. had soap, plastic "glasses" and

Not a good stayPosted May 18, 2015
When we first got there the line of people to check in was very long, probably about fifteen in line and it took about 20 minutes to check in. We were put in the back building where there was no parking and we had to park in the food for less parking lot. I was at a conference and my wife was going to our car to come and pick me up when someone approched my wife and it was not a good experience. It scared her very much, lucky she had our dog with her. We were right next to the elevator, so the room vibrated all night as people would come and go.

Close to school (uop)Posted May 17, 2015
The only thing about our room was that the door to our room didn't close unless we slammed it shut. Otherwise the breakfast was pretty good to our surprise and overall our experience was good.

this hotel has gone downhill, doesn't feel safePosted Apr 6, 2015
Pros: the breakfast is decent, they have eggs and sausage along with the normal carb offerings
Cons: safety outside the hotel
Location: fairly close to UOP campus, on east march lane, by a target
have stayed here before, ( 2 years ago ) this time was different. Friday night was approached by a homeless man on a bike when we were getting out of our car, asking for money. Saturday morning at 5 am , people talking in the hall & going in out of the rooms using the " safety latch keep door open method", Saturday night at 12:20 am, a fight in the parking lot outside our window, lots of cussing, car revving. I tried to call the front desk 3 times with no answer . glad we were on the 2nd floor . The room itself was ok, the towel bar fell of the wall.

Nice place to stayPosted Mar 22, 2015
Pros: Great breakfast and hotel staff were wonderful. The front desk called in the first half hour to ask if we were happy with the room.
Cons: Hallways were a little shabby, needs new paint and carpets. Some hotels have dog treats, dog dishes, would have been a nice touch for our furry friend
Location: lots of dining choices and malls close by, easy access to I5
We have stayed at many Best Westerns but this hotel had the best buffet breakfast by far! Big dining room and there was a variety of breakfast foods available that were hot and fresh. Serving staff was very nice.

Beds were very firm.Posted Mar 10, 2015
Pros: Delicious hot breakfast
Cons: Bedding! Comfort of beds.
If you like firm beds, this hotel would be an average place to stay. I myself, need softer bedding for my back, and was disappointed in how uncomfortable the beds were. The room had a funny smell, and the blankets had stains on them. Overall, it wasn't a terrible experience. The hot free breakfast was wonderful! It was an average stay.

Nice hotel, clean room.Posted Mar 5, 2015
Pros: Good value for the price.
Cons: The shower had no hot water.
Location: Too far from the I5.
The entrance to the hotel was hard to find. The staff were friendly, the room was large and the breakfast was good.
