Nice place to stay

Posted Mar 22, 2015
Pros: Great breakfast and hotel staff were wonderful. The front desk called in the first half hour to ask if we were happy with the room.
Cons: Hallways were a little shabby, needs new paint and carpets. Some hotels have dog treats, dog dishes, would have been a nice touch for our furry friend
Location: lots of dining choices and malls close by, easy access to I5
We have stayed at many Best Westerns but this hotel had the best buffet breakfast by far! Big dining room and there was a variety of breakfast foods available that were hot and fresh. Serving staff was very nice.

Beds were very firm.

Posted Mar 10, 2015
Pros: Delicious hot breakfast
Cons: Bedding! Comfort of beds.
If you like firm beds, this hotel would be an average place to stay. I myself, need softer bedding for my back, and was disappointed in how uncomfortable the beds were. The room had a funny smell, and the blankets had stains on them. Overall, it wasn't a terrible experience. The hot free breakfast was wonderful! It was an average stay.

Nice hotel, clean room.

Posted Mar 5, 2015
Pros: Good value for the price.
Cons: The shower had no hot water.
Location: Too far from the I5.
The entrance to the hotel was hard to find. The staff were friendly, the room was large and the breakfast was good.

Great for the price!

Posted Mar 3, 2015
Pros: Breakfast was fabulous! Hot eggs, sausage, biscuits & gravy...great fuel for a long drive home!
Cons: Hallways and elevator had a funny smell.
Just a stopover on the drive home to Portland from Anaheim. Check in was lovely...it was midnight and the girl behind the counter was pleasant and chatty. The exterior and hallways were a little scary but once we got into the room we found them clean and comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic! Totally worth the money.

Visiting Friends

Posted Feb 27, 2015
Location: Mall and many businesses nearby. Not far from college and U of P. Gold country about an hours drive east
I stayed here while visiting friends. The hotel was conviently located to businesses and short drive to I-5. Breakfast buffett had lots of options. Room was spacious and kept clean. Noise from traffic was minimal.

Pros: Close to the freeway that we were traveling on, also walking distance to a nice restaurant.
Just an overnight stay as we were traveling home. Night staff was very helpful. Thanks for breakfast next morning.

Great staff!

Posted Feb 17, 2015
Pros: The staff and the breakfast was great!
Cons: The sound proofing of the rooms could be better.
Location: Many places around to eat and a mall right down the road.
Good location for our plans, great staff that made us feel very welcome and they were very accommodating! We were on the second floor and could hear people above us walking around and the people in the halls were loud and woke us up many times. Other than that the lobby was beautiful, the breakfast was amazing and again the staff was incredible!

Nice Staff + Old Bldgs + Lacking Items = Just Ok

Posted Feb 16, 2015
Pros: Wifi, staff, price
Cons: parking, access card readers need to work as well as north building north side stairwell does not have keycard access on 2nd or 3rd levels
Location: close to shopping and restaurants, but hate the "sharing" of or proximity to Food4Less parking lot and traffic.
The front desk staff was great (nice, helpful and respectful). The buildings are older and not so nice by today standards, plus there were several items that we not working and needed repair (e.g. the access gate from westside parking lot did not open with keycard). The rooms were decent size and had the usual amenities. Wifi worked quite well and there never was any sort of slowdown like many hotels that don't plan for enough bandwidth or have poor room coverage. There are several things that should be addressed however, the foremost is the morning "brunch" which has minimal choices (e.g. no yogurt, no healthy cereal - just fruitloops and the like) and poor layout making it hard to navigate to the items you want since some are pushed all the way to the corners.

Great service

The woman behind the counter, Catherine, was exceptional. I'd hire her for any customer service job. Great stay.
