“dirty carpets”

I know this is a budget hotel, but I wish they would wash the carpet once in a while. My white socks would turn black in no time after walking around the room.

“Everything was okay-we had just what we needed”

Don't expect more than just what is needed. Towels nothing great - the carpet, looked new it was the best things in the room.

“It's a one star...”

The hotel has a pretty good location for what I needed. It was cheap but the room showed why. The mattresses were like box springs, not very comfortable.

“It is what it is.”

Its Not a 4 star hotel. but it was a BIG step up from the other economy chain. For me it was worth the extra 10 or so.

“reasonable value for the price”

No TV remote (requested one but didn't get one), scratchy towels and bedding, small room. Hard to find workers in the office when room key quit working and I was locked out of my room. On the other hand, it was clean and there was a refrigerator. Very convenient to interstate and restaurants. Very noisy with trucks on the interstate. For the price, it was an ok value.

“cleanliness issues”

I asked for non smoking rooms but it seems that people doesn't respect the signs. Also the pillow case and the sheets were not clean. Not a good experience.

“This Vagabond leaves much to be desired”

I have always founf the Vagabond Inns to be consistant however this one left me doubtful. The staff I had contact with was very plesent but the room left much to be desired. There were several electrical outlets in the room were not working and the smoke alarm was without batteries. When I mentioned it to the front desk they said they were aware of the problrms but the maintance man was off untill Monday and if I wanted to change rooms I could move up to the second floor at the far end of the building. I declined as the room was on the first floor right next to the parking lot.

“I wouldn't go back”

Staff was unavailable. Calls to front desk went unanswered. Random drunk knocked on our door at 2 AM wanting to come in. Neighborhood had a lot of people just "hanging out", making it unsafe to go outside the room.
