“Convenient location, clean and spacious rooms”

We stayed there for one night as we were passing through, and it was a great location right off the freeway. The hotel staff was friendly, and the rooms were clean and good-sized with the typical amenities of a hotel of this type. Definitely a great value for the price paid!

“Great Hotel”

The hotel staff was most impressive. Very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. To top it off, the breakfast was more than adequate and the dinning area was very clean.

“Affordable Place”

Comfortable Hotel right off the highway with a good selection of places to eat within walking distance. They offer a good contenential breakfast in the morning which is free and more than just coffee and muffins. Free internet available also. Our room was clean and the upkeep of the Hotel seemed fine. Shower floor was slippery, would recommend they put some non slip material on the bottom to prevent future injuries.

“Good for the value”

We have stayed here before for one night and it is a good, discount motel. It's not a premium motel, but you get what you pay for and this is a good stay for the value. If anything, the rooms are starting to show their age and wear/tear, but everything is clean and the people are very nice.

“Great stop for the easy traveler. Not too shabby.”

Just stayed here for a one night stay over. November 2011. This place was great. I didn't want to stay in Stockton, because I heard the crime rate was high. Lathrop is suposed to have a super low crime rate, which I was concerned about with all my belongings in my car for moving. I didn't expect anything fancy, but didn't want a roach motel either. Room was super clean, sheets were clean, bed was soft and pillows were super soft. Some signs of aging show in the building, but hey... I knew this wasn't going to be the four seasons! The complimentary breakfast was more than just fruit and cereal. The usual waffle bar and they had eggs and sausages. Cool. A little noise could be heard from the area, but I knew that was to be expected being so close to the freeway, plus there's some late night drive-thrus in the area, but nothing too crazy. I'm used to some noise anyways. If you like dead-quiet, then this is not your place. Pleasant stay for the price, simple location. Clean, no strange smells in my room either. I sometimes think travelers expect too much in a hotel. This place fit the bill. As I said, nothing fancy, but a step above standard.

“Old Holiday Inn Express”

This Holiday Inn Express is older and in a noisey location. Lot's of large trucks going right by the hotel with not much sound-proofing to keep out the noise. I didn't sleep well.

“One Night Stay”

Motel was located off the freeway and entrance is easy to miss. Motel staff was extremely helpful and provided great service. This probably the best feature of this motel. The motel is surrounded by many fast food and regular restaurants. Having dining choices was easy and did not require transportation. Room was a little dated and not very quiet. The hallways are exterior hallways so loud guest can be heard as they walk by. The bathroom fans are old and noisy. We could hear the fan from the downstair guestroom all night long since they did not turn it off. The pool area was large and comfortable.
