“Good value for the price”

We were on our way to SF and looked for a cheap place to stay. The motel is just of HW 5. We had a quiet room (asked for it). Very friendly staff members. We would recommend this hotel.

“Good if you only need a cheap bed. Hopefully they give you the right one!”

The location was fine. It was right off of I-5 which was what we were looking for. When we checked in we were put into room 114. We didn't actually go to the room because we were running behind for a wedding. When we got to the Inn at about 12:30am the key wouldn't work on the door. After trying a few more times the door suddenly opened and a lady rudly asked me "Why are you trying to get into my room?!?" I let her know that i was given this room and showed her my key card with "114" on it. She said "No, i was given this room" and slammed the door on my face. They were quick to give me another room right away but i would not stay here again.

“Excellent place to stay”

We stay here for one night. The checkin is very easy and the people there are very nice. The room is very comfortable. Easy access to high way. Not noisy at all.

“This place is a Dump”

If you want a filthy room this is your place! We stayed only a few hours. We think this place was being used for a weekend drug and prostitution house, way to many people in and out. Lots of noise and yelling.

“RED ROOF STOCKTON”

The Red Roof Inn in Stockton offers a different mix of characteristics. Situated between an Interstate and the Port of Stockton (preferred), it is perfect for getting on or off the highway 5 in a Southerly direction. It's a different and more difficult to return westerly without dealing with the poorly maintained side streets of Stockton. Other amenities include panhandlers and hustlers at ATM's downtown who want you to lend them money to fix their "car" and the "Stockton is the 2nd most dangerous City in America" billboard down on Fremont street. Service at Red Roof can be spotty depending on the time of day. Overall, it is a convenient stop on the way on Interstate 5 South on and off.

“Very nice yet inexpensive hotel”

I will definitely stay at the Red Roof Inn again. The room was very nice for a very nice price. Plus, they have a great coffee machine that makes lattes and other coffee drinks.

“Scariest Red Roof I've been in/to”

I have stayed at Red Roof Inns before and had a pleasant experience. I expected I'd find the same quality, but it seems the Re Roof quality has gone down. The Hotel Staff was *Absolutely Amazing*!! For that I would go back. However, having to watch the drug deals and prostitutes left me little desire to return to the same hotel again.

Traveler's tip

This hotel is practically under the freeway and there is no civilization nearby for amenities. If you want a good 'restaurant row', go 5 exits north on the 5 to I beleive it's March st. exit and go east.

“Extremely Satisfied”

I completely enjoyed our stay at this location. My family and I had no complaints nor concerns.From start to finish, everything was smooth. Check-in,cleanliness,pool access,staff and the complimentary breakfast was all inorder and as promised per the info provided by expedia.
