“Nice room, pleasantly surprised!”

Hotel was excellent. Breakfast could have been a little better with the addition of some cream cheese or peanut butter for toast or a bagel.

The hotel had everything available when we arrived just befor the snow storm. They provided coupons for local establishments and directions to various business. We were there for two days but worked with us for brakfast and room araignements. I wish all the places that we stayed at met their standards.

“Storm Lake is a smelly town.”

The location of Storm lake was great to meet relatives but the Tyson plant really smells, we could not wait to leave. The Super 8 was an ok place to stay, it was away from the lake. Do not swim in the lake.

Nice little motel and easy to get to. Would stay there again. Only drawback is that the continental breakfast could use a waffle maker and mini moos for coffee. Other than these 2 little things it was a very nice stay.

“Clean, reasonably priced, Storm Lake, IA Motel”

I am a Faculty Member at Buena Vista Universtiy and stayed here for a conference. The staff was helpful and friendly and check-in was timely. The room was very clean and neatly arranged. Free Wi-Fi makes work easy. If you can't get into the King's Pointe Resort, this is your best bet. Also better all the way round than The Sail Inn.

“No complaints”

While this hotel was reviewed with only two stars, I found it to be a nice hotel, inexpensive, comfortable and a very pleasant stay.

The motel was very comfortable, clean and located at the north end of the business district. We will use it again the next time we are in Storm Lake.

“Is the computer system working yet?”

At check in I was told computer system was down, but was given my room. The next morning at check out, the clerk informs me their computer is still down, and I did not receive a copy of my bill or any receipt for my payment. I was promised a copy of my bill and receipt would be mailed to me and two weeks later, I have not received anything from the property.
