“Pretty impressed”

I would reccommend this hotel to anyone who wished to stay in the area. My husband and I stayed there last weekend to attend a wedding in the area. Not only was it close to a few resturants (TGI Fridays and Texas Roadhouse) but down the street there was also a strip mall. The hotel staff was very friendly and even came to our room one day to make sure that everything was fine and we did not need anything. The free breakfast was also a plus. The room itself was of a decent size and clean. If you are considering staying in the area consider this hotel. You wont regret it.

“Very Nice Hotel”

Hotel was very nice and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would absolutely stay there again and would recommend it to anyone.

“Overall good experience”

Stayed for 2 nights over the weekend. Rooms were clean, staff was friendly and the free breakfast was about what you'd expect. Close to the highway and several chain restaurants nearby.

“Comfortable Overnight Stay”

My husband and I stayed here one night to attend a local birthday party. A nearly brand-new Akron General satellite is next door as well as a steak house and TGI Friday's. The hotel staff were very disorganized when we arrived and proceeded to try to solve some kind of problem with a code for the door keys rather than provide the attention it would have taken to have checked us in right away. They did expedite the room cleaning so we only had to wait 30 minutes to check in (it was only 2:00 and check in time is 3:00). The room was comfortable and clean with nice linens. Our room was adjacent to the fitness center, which might have been a problem if we had wanted to sleep in, since there was some noise that came through the wall. The pool looked nice and clean and the fitness center had newer equipment and was above average.

“Great hotel”

We had a great stay at the Hampton in Stow. Workers at front desk were very freindly and polite, and had us checked in very quickly. The room was clean and a very confortible stay.There are plenty of restraunts in the area..some just in walking distance.The only thing was the remodling for the breakfast area. The next morning it was served in a small conference room which was a little cramped....but we understood this and really was not a big deal....Hey its a good FREE breakfast why complain.Over all my girlfriend and I had a very pleasent stay and would highly recomend The Hampton.

Area recommendations
Downtown Akron if you are looking for the night life. Or during the day there is the art museum, main library, restraunts and music shows at Lock3..Downtown is very safe area with alot to see.

“Great experience”

The staff was very cordial and professional. Room rates were more than acceptable. We will not hesitate to stay here in the future. The only downer was that I failed to paack my aftershave upon departure.

“Best Motel in the Akron area.”

Perfect price. Great Staff. Location was excellant. I spent 15 yrs in the Army and have stayed in alot of Motels. This was the best. They afforded me the opportunity to have a pool party with my grandkids. Never a hassle or problem. My complaments tio the manger because his staff convied the way he was. His training of the staff needs to be taught to alot of Motels. I have stayed in 12 different Motels in the Akron area and by far this was the best. Don't pass staying at this Motel.
