“The best hotel”

It was very clean, the staff was great!!! Also we thought it was certainly one of the nicest hotels in the area! We will be going back soon and enjoyed everything about out stay. The resturant is fantastic as well!

My husband and I decided to take a short trip up to Vermont for a small vacation. We were so delighted when we arrived in Stowe and saw how gorgeous the inn was. The front desk staff were so helpful. Our room was beautiful and clean. The grounds of the hotel were also exceptional too. I went and had a massage one morning and the massage room off of the gym area was so relaxing and peaceful. This inn was by far the nicest one we have ever stayed in.

“A Gem in the Mountains”

Over 150 years old and charming as can be! The rooms are large and extremely comfortable. The staff bent over backwards to make our stay A++. US Air lost our luggage for 2 1/2 days. In efforts to locate our luggage, we used up our cell phone batteries. The staff, trying to help us in every way possible, pulled out a box of chargers left past guest had left behind and Voila... we were back in business.Green Mountain Inn is a true gem in Stowe. Don't miss staying there!

Hotel was everything we had hoped for - heated outdoor pool, jacuzzi, sauna, massage, convenient, quaint, easy to get around in. They were very helpful in getting you whatever you needed - information, towels, tea, even a fridge that wasn't in the room. Clean comfortable and relaxing. One small suggestion - provide disposable paper or washable rubber sandals for the jacuzzi/sauna area.

“Charming and Convenient”

The Green Mountain Inn is a great place to stay when visiting Stowe, VT. It is in a great location, has excellent ameneties and is a very warm and inviting place. I would reccommend a deluxe room and up which are well worth the extra money.

“Best breakfast!!!”

My husband and I just love this hotel. Probably our most favorite among all the hotels we've stayed. Not kidding. Our first visit was on our honeymoon-we stayed there for a week. Just loved the experience. It's located right in downtown Stowe, where you can take a walk on paths nearby, visit local shops and eateries etc. This was our second visit...we finally made it back. Their service was just great. Their pastry goods are so amazingly yummy! Their restaurant, the Whip, is excellent also. After snowboarding all day, it was so nice to come back to the hotel, enjoy the tea time snack offered by the hotel and relax. Their tea time starts at 4pm.
