An excellent valuePosted Aug 26, 2014
An excellent value with free bike, breakfast, movies, tennis, etc. The location is also excellent and the staff very friendly. I would go back for a nice little, if one is on budget.

Easy to find location, close to restaurants. Nice amenities, breakfast, bikes to ride, DVDs to borrow. I would go back to stay again here.

Close to all Stowe AmenitiesPosted Aug 18, 2014
Thoroughly enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere of this Hotel. The pool was clean and refreshing and the outdoor whirlpool was so relaxing. Also enjoyed the hammocks! Breakfast was sometimes challenging because of the small room and lots of guests, but the food selection was more than adequate. Will definitely be going back!

Excellent option near everything!Posted Aug 11, 2014
Nice place to stay on a quick Stowe visit. Will be an option if we return. Friendly guest attentions, good continental breakfast(more than that), and good location. The free bike service a good option for those who don't travel with it.

Old Fashion RelaxationPosted Jul 22, 2014
Pros: Loved the outdoor space.
Cons: Update the bedding even more.
Location: Walking distance to a couple of restaurants. Close to hiking and outdoor fun.
What a lovely stay at the Stowe Motel and Snowdrift. While it is telling the age of the room and facility, the renovations have kept that old time charm while still providing terrific details that make the stay so lovely. Our room opened to an outdoor area with lush and well maintained grass. The picnic tables, hammocks and lawn chairs provided a great place to have a meal or snack while relaxing in the great outdoors. The pool area was well kept and clean and even provided some pool toys for the younger guests. There is a great movie selection free of charge to check out and bring to the room. Coffee anytime is a great touch. Breakfast was good. Bagels were not the generic pulled from the freezer but fresh and delicious and the coffee was great. These are the little details that keeps this place feeling great. The front desk folks were helpful and kind. The grounds well kept and pretty with the nice touch of chairs and flowers. The room was basic but spacious. It is always great to have a refrigerator of a decent size.

Beautiful area, great hotel, 2 pools, FREE bikes..Posted Jul 13, 2014
Cons: Get directions from the hotel, NOT from Google, in order to find it.
Location: biking, mountain climbing/hiking.
Rooms were big and luxurious, the grounds and pool were gorgeous--tables for picnics, helpful people working there.

Unremarkable but pleasant. The 'continental breakfast' was minimal but adequate.
